Stop the PRess, hold the horses!!! Is LBJ saying that he might want to join us and win some rings over the next few years? If we add LBJ and put Aminu on the bench, are we a contender as is?

I'm not sure. I think we still need one more big in the paint who is a defensive monster.

I certainly wouldn't turn the King down if he wanted to come here though!!

The King makes anyone a contender.

That's why he, and not Curry is the best player on the planet.

Only if he'd be willing to come off the bench next year.
As is we're a 55+ win team next year. Aminu is clutch in the playoffs, LBJ isn't.

while this would be cool, it will never happen. it'll never happen with Durant either (mainly cause of the draft. see: Kenneth Faried).

I actually think it this would against all odds somehow happen, you'd start Aminu at the 3 and James at the 4. That lineup would really be an interesting matchup against the Warriors.

pretty sure its more of a "hey stotts, come coach in Cleveland, you know they give me anything I want here"

besides, I don't want that fool in a blazers jersey anyway.

I said this in another thread recently too, but, I just don't like the guy. nothing about him. never have. never will.
 
I don't like him. I didn't like Michael Jordan. I sure as fuck would have loved to have him on the Blazers. If the other players like him that's fine with me.

LeBron is the rare player who doesn't need the spotlight because he brings the spotlight with him.
 
Maybe Durant, James and Drummond will unite and decide to come to Portland.

Lillard
CJ/Crabbe
Durant/Aminu
James/Davis
Drummond/Plumlee

Then we can destroy the Warriors.
