Come All-star time, Yi will have starting votes over Garnett. Enough said.
 
Can we incorporate articles and conjunctions and maybe even a little punctuation? Even if you are a non-native speaker, are very young, or have not received a certain level of education, don't be internet-lazy; some effort and energy in that department would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
If they send Yi down to the D league he would be the first all star playing in the D league. The real funny part here would be he wouldn't be any good in the D league, yet starting on the all star game. How ironic...

I have really avoided all the Yi-hating and Yi-loving threads. But this one got to me.

Mikki was ALL ENERGY. He single handedly got the fans going...and he came out and gave great effort every time he set foot on the floor. And he did things EMPHATICALLY -- moves with gusto, especially dunks.

I was very sad to see him go as a fan favorite. Understood all the financial issues.

I'll give you this -- Yi has a very similar body type to Mikki. I think the fans are waiting for Yi to hit that incredibly timely 3...to do a thunder dunk or two...and to be in the middle of the fray. He will quickly earn the fans respect and interest.

There are glimmers of hope...when he puts the ball floor lately, I like his intent...even if he doesn't always convert. I've seen him make some good defensive plays from time to time and grab a few rebounds. SOME of this will keep us crazed Nets fans believing he is earning his minutes on the floor.

i think so yes. but the thing is YI SUCKS, and he wants him in the allstar game over Garnett because of "potential".

My original post was an implication of my dislike of Kevin Garnett and his etiquette, or lack thereof. With Yi getting more votes, Garnett may lose his starting All-Star position.

As for potential, that was a defence against someone's accusation that I only like Yi because he's Chinese. Which is absurd to say the least.

anyone notice once Hill took over Yi didn't play much.
 
Funny thing is, Yi isn't even the best seven footer on the team, Brooke Lopez is, and some how Yi is going to the All-Star game.

Anybody that votes for Yi is a complete and utter moron because there is NO logical basketball reason to vote for him whatsoever. Enough said.

I did it, but only once, because I knew it would piss people off. Thought it might be funny in a meaningless game.
 
I hope he does get voted in. Then it will expose the system and maybe changes will be made. But for years the system has put in many players who don't deserve to be on the team.
 
who really cares, i hope yi gets voted in too, only so garnett doesnt. and i wanna see duncan amare and company fucking own him.

Whats the legitimate reason? VOTES?? Lets keep it real if China wasn't allowed to vote you think Yi would have those VOTES?? REALLY Yi is NOT an ALLSTAR. I think Hayes outplays Yi. His time to prove that was in the Olympics & he DID NOT. What do you think that BOY is going to do when the BEST of the WEST takes the court?

Anyone who prefers Garnett over Yi after what Garnett has been doing is a complete and utter moron. Look, I know Yi isn't at All-star level yet, that's obvious. But after what Garnett has done, I would much rather Yi starting than him. Of course, if Bosh can start that would be best, but anyone over Garnett, please.
 
You can't tell the Yi fans from the Yi haters anymore.

Tangman is like the biggest Yi fan. However, him and Nets1 sound exactly the same on the forums. So, I imagine that's just how it is.

Garnett is a bum, I'm tired of seeing his commercials.

I've read both your's and Tang Man's posts over at YaoMania forums and Tang Man is truly a two-faced Yi fan/hater. Absolutely :biglaugh: at times.

LMAO. I couldn't care less if Yi was the most hated player on the planet if he played a major hand in helping his team win a championship like KG did. I'll take that any day over him getting 1,000,000,000,000,000 votes for the ASG.

KG has got a championship ring bro. No matter how much hate him or how much you want Yi to start in the ASG ahead of him isn't going to change that.

Championship ring >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all star starter any day.
