Our Work still isn't Done.
Now is when we cruize through the Denver game and start getting ready to the playoffs. It's a whole different ball game. Our team is young, any opponent we would face would have more playoff experience between the players. Our players are still learning each other, we have an entirely different team than the won who lost to the Grizz last year, we're gonna find out how we can make it work.
Before the season, just a playoff appearance would have been an amazing acheivement and it is, but now we've got nothing to lose. We play each game, with intensity, with will, with determination and know we at least did our best.
There could always be excuses. There would always be next year, but this is no reason to fail. We can be optimistic about the future but in this quest there would never be a chance just like right now. If we're down, keep your heads up, if we lose a game, we win the next one. The teams against us want it just as much as we do. but we should be able to want it even more.
Go Blazers!

Our secret weapon: Noah Vonleh.
We play small ball, Harkless or Aminu at the 4, then go big with Vonleh to surprise the opponent

Yeah right

Vonleh is our x-factor. We start Harkless and Aminu small then turn big with Vonleh at the 4, then take Vonleh out and play Harkless at the 4. That's basically the rotation. Our starting lineup is a big 3, small 4, then we can go smaller or bigger, play 3 swingmen with one guard and one Center or play the starting lineup we had most of the season, with Dame, CJ and Vonleh. We have many options, we need to use this flexibility

Or, if we really want to win big, we'll find a way to get Montero and Alexander in the game! We'll do best with a 15 man rotation! Our scrubs need minutes!

I'm just fuckin' with you brotha! :bgrin:

It's gonna be our first series against CP isn't it.
Dame should be guarding him with CJ on Reddick

Reddick would score 50 a game.

Reddick is a very smart player, good decision maker and a good scorer. I remember games when he score 20+ on us which could be the difference between a win or a loss

Doesn't CJ have a better defensive rating than Dame and a better than average compared to the league? Not saying Riddick wont get his shots, but it seemed like your saying he will score 50 because CJ is on him? Disagree with that. I think CJ will take it serious, knowing this guy has been their X factor in the past and take the mission to a new level of defensive ability for him.

I dont think he flies under the radar anymore. I think we have a guy stick to him like glue.

I did say it because of CJ.

That would be a surprise. Kid has the talent I believe....just needs some confidence and consistent production.

We have a lot of fouls to throw at Jordan...I'll bet Kaman would love to get a few minutes just to smack him a few times. I see Gerald or Mo pestering CP3 and Redick a lot from time to time. To me the X factor will be Chief....he gets to frustrate Blake and Jordan into foul trouble early
