Lets talk about team rivalries for a second...

For me, the essence of L*ker hatred is seeing the imordinate amount of
#8-wearing, high-fivin' Kome butt-boys that putrify OUR HOUSE when they come to town.

Fuck them and fuck the L*kers.

(was that too subtle?)

the only thing worse than a Timberwolves fans masquerading on the forum as Blazer fans, is Laker fans who come into the RG wearing their bling, thinking they're big shits now because they're wearing a "old school" Kobe uniform (which for them is just when he wore #8, and not an actual old school Lakers uniform. either the style of the 80's, or their original uniforms).

Whats worse than BOTH of those groups is Blazer fans who act like they're Laker fans when the Lakers are in town, but Blazer fans the rest of the year.

You can't be both. sorry.

I can say with adamant fervor, I only cared about the Blazers (and sports in general) starting at age 24.
In that case, change "your whole life" to "for the entire duration of your Blazermania"

There's people like that up there? Ugh, fuck them.

If they're anything like Celtics fans in Portland, yeah, fuck them. In 2010 I went to the Boston game instead of selling my tickets. We were surrounded by red shirts and jerseys, and Blazers caps... until tipoff when they took them off revealing Celtics gear underneath. They jeered and heckled the few Blazers fans in the stands for 3 hours, then put on their Blazers gear and walked out without getting properly beat down like they deserved.

Sure it was. If you haven't hated the L*kers your whole life, you're not a true Blazers fan.

This
The laker hatred was greatest in the late 90's early 00, when both teams were relevant. Nothing will quell that spirit.

However, I never got the feeling the rivalry was as strong on their end. But there has been great two-way rivalries between the blazers and sonics, and especially blazers and Jazz. But until the Blazers are decent again, it's just one-way-hate. Like the wolves fans thinking there is some rivalry. They just don't matter enough for there to be a real rivalry. For a rivalry to exist, two teams both need to at least be playoff teams

It is now. Read Lakersground. We have what they want: The 8th seed in the playoffs.*

*Houston actually just took it from us but we take it back with a win tonight.

Wow. Cowards.

Mark Wahlberg is a Boston Celtics fan.

I just don't think the hate goes as deep for the Lakers fan base as it does for the Blazers fan base.

It will, the Lakers are in a bigger rebuild job than we are. And they aren't going to take kindly to that.

Already saw on the Lakers board that they want to trade Dwight for LMA and Lillard. Like that is going to happen. They are ready to start over basically from scratch though.

Kevin Love or Josh Smith will be in a Lakers uniform by trade deadline though.

Wrong.

You're a weiner.
