My heart is aching from this one looong ordeal, but for God's sake, let's talk about something positive here!

Two words: Sean Williams.

This loss stings because we could have won. If someone (Name not mentioned) had made there last Fts, we could have tied it. This sucks.

And imagine when Vince and Marcus are healthy! I just hope it's not too late.

22 and 8 ...and 2 blocks from Sean. I didn't catch the game, did he start?

Wright had a nice all around game tonight from the looks of it.

how is Sean looking on the floor?

although we lost the is probably the best game we've played all season.

My god...what is wrong with you? That is so MINOR! You could say that about anything...OMG if RJ actually didn't blow that layup. Or If Kidd could have gotten a call or if we just didn't turn over the ball for the 32432154323 time...we coulda TIED!

Collins didn't lose this game for us....please get off his jock. Your beginning to sound like a jilted lover.

agree. if it's not for the second quarter we would have won this one big. once we stop quitting in some quarters - we're going to be allright.

Yes, Sean started. He looked absolutely amazing. So athletic.

Yes he did. He looked confident and he can hit free throws.

LOL, that was minor? Instead of telling me to get off his jock, maybe you should.

The Nets have found their bigman

Now we just need everyone else to step up.

Yes in the grand scheme of the game, yes it was.

Wright> Eddie Gill as a spot PG. He should good court-vision today.

The positive:

Collins is not a starter now.

Sean Williams and Magloire deserve to start.

magloire 5 points 7 rebounds 1 block tonight in 21 min

Netsies have been looking for a power forward. Sure looks like they got one. Life is good. 72 games to see how it pans out.

I'd rather be 4-6 with the key piece we're discovering than 6-4 with a big void.

T_A_G I think you are right, I think the loosing streak to force the Coach to play something diffrent.

If we had won the game by a minor lead, then Sean would never see the game.

Magloire's got to play up to what he supposedly can tho'. Very inconsistent with the O and turnover prone. Rebounding seems to be a constant. Overall, I like that he's a bruiser & I'm glad he got a chance and hopes he gets more but the jury is still out, Jarkid, imho.

Some of Magloire's shot attempts were so bad I think they should have been counted as turnovers. I wouldn't mind sticking with tonight's line up though. I still don't see a reason to start Krstic until he's really able to step up.

yep. today's starting 5 should remain intact. at least until Vince's return.

Could anyone see Antione remain in the starting lineup and bring Magloire off the bench?

when Krstic can score 16 off the bench he should return to the starting 5.

A positive development would be not having Magloire trying to score in any way unless he is completely open underneath the rim. He shouldn't attempt any kind of shot unless he's wide open under the rim or the shot clock is about to expire.

Oh, and lightning struck twice in this game. Magloire and Collins both hit jumpshots this game. Silky smooth jumpshots. What are the odds of that happening again?

maybe Cat and Twin had a bet.

Another really important positive development from last nights game was Sean Williams on the pick and roll. He set the pick and then he put himself in a really good position to catch the pass on the roll. It's like he suddenly studied it and picked it up over a day and applied it in the game. Amazing. If he can continue to do it consistently watch out with him and Krstic, Carter and Marcus when they come back healthy. And he even hit a smooth looking midrange jumper. Pick and pop threat next for Sean Williams?

They must have worked on some plays for Williams in practice,

Krstic woulda made those FT's. And RJ wouldn't have attracted all the defense from Miami if Vince was in. Hell, he might not have even gotten the ball.

Fuck injuries. Fuck the Spurs, they never get injured. What the hell's up with that? Assholes.

Great point, jarkid. Who knows where we'd be if we'd been close in those other games or won...with Collins and Krstic BOTH still starting.
