That they did. 2nd biggest win of the season

I'm waiting for Ben goliver to copy paste the article and add in san Antonio.

Way to early to start talking about how far we can make it in the playoffs. I love what our team is doing and the amazing unselfish basketball we are playing but lets not focus on post season accomplishments until we have them.

Agreed. But the fact that national writers are publishing Blazers and WCF in the same article is exciting!

The difference is the Blazers don't take any game lightly. They don't even look like they are looking into the future. It's like a one game at a time mentality: I hope they keep this train of thought and don't get involved with all this notoriety

Yep, Its the "one game at a time" mentality that will take this team where we want them to go. Love the intensity they have the last five minutes of games.

They have the hunger and the killer mentality night in and out it takes to be a contender. Lamarcus Aldridge is by far the MVP of this team, but I feel as if Wesley is our true leader. I love the quote From here the other night when he said something like " Were not the cool kids, were dogs!". I chopped that quote up pretty good, but you catch my drift. Love how gritty that man is!

I really don't sense any fear in us. I don't think any of the players fear who they are up against either. We are seriously in it to win it!

I think as the season progresses, our killer instinct will get much stronger. The more we win, the more confidence we have to blow teams out as well.

I am real curious to see how we perform on the road against the better teams in the conference though.

Yeah I wanna see us battle like we did against Golden State on the road. So far, a lot of our meaningful games have been at home. The Houston on the road is the game I'm circling!

OKC on the road New years eve is a biggie too

Good point. I enjoy every game these days. You might not be the biggest homer in town anymore. HA

MERGE with GrandpaBlaze thread, same article from two days ago.

I like reading Blazer fluff as much as the next Blazermaniac, but the byline leaves me a little underwhelmed:

Taylor Barfield is currently a college freshman at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. He covers the NBA (specifically the Portland Trail Blazers) primarily via blogging

Win the day. And other pertinent clichés.

So basically any maniac with an internet connection can write whatever and get picked up and syndicated. How far 'journalism' has fallen. I blame Wikipedia.
