Spurs or Portland. It's been that way for months. Spurs are the obvious choice but yeah, I wish he would still coe back just to give this team a chance

Maybe I am overreacting a bit but I am just saying we have known it's the Spurs or Portland for months now and I am sure he has known that

I personally don't think you request a second meeting with a team if they are not being seriously considered. Kobe has been called in for a second meeting.

Well it's Laker land. Maybe they throw in some under the table shit and somehow get LA to go there. I would laugh and everybody would think Lamarcus was the dumbest person on earth

I'm fairly sure that it's the Lakers who are pushing for a second meeting. LMA is just granting the request.

I agree with an early poster its to help the Lakers save face. His agent probably asked LaMarcus to do it to help them look better. They didn't intend for the Lakers to look so inept.

I think he was genuinely intrigued by the Phoenix situation.

Even if he made up his mind from the start I don't fault him for doing his due diligence to be sure he is making the decision he will be happy with long term. DeAndre is taking just as long. All the other free agents signed fast because they're worried about locking up money in the rare case the team making an offer goes in a different direction. For players with multiple max deals on the table they have no concern of that situation.

It's a noble gesture from LA to grant one, he does live there and it'll chase away the stalkers for awhile

I also agree. Seems like there was a leak from LMA's camp about the first meeting that the Lakers took exception to, so having a second meeting allows everyone to save face and for his agent to be able to do business w/ the Lakers in the future.

i was about to rag on everyone but you took care of it. keep it classy guys, it was already embarrassing when batum left with class. im sure aldridge has better things to do than read message boards, but can you imagine if he was just trolling other franchises and planned to sign with us all along how he would feel reading all these comments about him?
 
There's no way LA and his agency would be trolling all these other teams. It would be career suicide for his whole agency.
