Latest Aldridge rumor. Will sign with Philadelpia where he is absolutely guaranteed that he will not have to play center.

I'm talking in the standpoint of leadership and teamwork.Oh I don't know if we're in better hands with Lillard or not - if his defense improves substantially "yes," if not, "no."
Lillard is going to have guys who can actually run a pick and roll for a change. He won't have to force as many contested shots or run from the hoop back down court in transition. Fresh legs make a big difference when a point guard needs to get back on D..I think we'll be a better team in the long runOh I don't know if we're in better hands with Lillard or not - if his defense improves substantially "yes," if not, "no."
well, if he really wanted to win, he would go to the wnbaWhat if LMA is being so careful because he's looking for a team that will let him play as LaCaitlyn Aldridge?
Part of me disagrees. I think the chain of events may have had us in mediocre hell. We would have most likely kept Wes and Batum, which were players that were built around Aldridge. With it happening like this, Olshey has a blank canvas to build a team to perfectly compliment LillardThe only thing we should be pissed about is we didnt get nothing for him
I'd like to believe that. Olshey playing the director, staring Lamarcus Aldridge executing a plan to forever change free agency, and the way free agents view Portland. Lead as many teams on as you can, get them to dump players to make salary cap room making them weaker, as they hold back on signing anybody else while they wait on you. But in the end he leaves them all hanging and resigns with PDX, following a carefully scripted plan. The plan ends with his understudy Lillard stepping in to bring him back, proving that there is a true chemistry between them that players around the league want to be a part of. Every year from here on out when a FA sets up meetings, the question is raised "Is he really interested in signing, or is he pulling a Lamarcus?" Pulling a Lamarcus is a strategy to be debated for years. Is it a brilliantly shrewd strategy? Or is it unethical? The answer is debated, but the results are clear . . . Portland becomes a desirable FA destination, LA becomes a transcendent superstar who is lauded for taking down Pop & the Spurs (among others) as much as he is for his play on the court. The Blazers go on to win a number of championships in the Lamarcus-gate era.
Yeah, I'd like to believe even some of that.

Yeah. Dame posted this on insta about twenty minutes ago
It's to Nico..no doubtIs this a message TO LMA or ABOUT LMA?

I agree. If we can just land a decent SG and SF, our off-season can be a success.Mags my Brother,, Right on the money.
As I have said elsewhere, we were not that good and the change was needed. While some gnashing of teeth is heard, LMA taking his time has actually helped us acquire some pretty nice players on the cheep.

I don't know, that one Spurs fan said he's pick Griner over LMA. So you never know...well, if he really wanted to win, he would go to the wnba

We need an "it gets better" campaign for Blazers fans.

Well hence why I said the only reason we should be pissed is we should have gotten some picks and young guys for LMA.. Why arent you pissed your dude LMA lied to us and led us to believe he would sign back with us? Did you see what ORL got for Dwight? MIN got for Love?
Forget LMA leaving how far did he got in the playoffs anyways? We should have traded him instead of being lied too..

Why would I be pissed?!?! The dude played through an injury, hoping he wouldn't have to leave. I think many of us are forgetting that Aldridge didn't have to do that. He wanted us to win. He wanted us to stick together. The moment Wes went down everything changed.Well hence why I said the only reason we should be pissed is we should have gotten some picks and young guys for LMA.. I was hoping for "All's Well that End's Well"
Sam Gamgee said:"Well, I'm back."
he deleted it because it was pointed out to him that the much ado about nothing line was actually in regards to Riley's dinner with him, not Damian.
Many of us are hoping for the last line of Lord of the Rings:
