Lillard flying to LA to convince LA to resign here

If Aldridge is leaving, expect dame to go ham. He's going to show the world that we do t need him. At least he will try

Nah, remember every time we say that he lays a fucking egg up. There was one game he was supposed to drop 50 and he sucked.

It's hilarious how some of you overact and immediately assume to worst. Lillard could have called LMA before jumping on a plane. Does it really matter if they talked over the phone or in person? The important thing is that they talked.

If it's true that he refused to meet person to person and only did it over the phone, it showed us a lot of things.

He's not coming back (although we already knew that). He's a coward who can't man up and say something to another persons face. He's like the popular girl who is trolling guys for attention because she's desperate for any attention and doesn't always make the smart choice. He doesn't really care about anyone on the team or working for the team or the fans.

And if it's true that he's upset that Damian was made into the face of the franchise, this mentality he's exhibiting is not that of someone who wants to win or is capable of winning.

So good luck playing in Duncans shadow, where the Spurs fans will be less likely to be OK paying you 25+ million a year to be LaMarsha.

The fact that they talked doesn't mean anything. You and I talk all the time on the phone, mostly because I call you to tell you to stop peeing on my lawn.

we've never had problems recently getting role players for the MLE-ish (Wes, Millsap--got matched--, Crawford, RoLo, Robinson, Miller, Mo, Kaman, Freeland, Blanky, etc). What we've had problems with is either getting or keeping healthy the really talented people you build your team around, and it's a bonus if you can get them on rookie deals where they're cheap and you control their rights. Oladipo/Thompson/1st or Wiggins/1sts would look pretty decent right now, instead of figuring out which mid-tier vet on a big contract we're going to accept for LMA's cap space.

Brian, as ever its hard to disagree with your point. While you have stated that we are able to pick up MLE-ish guys, those have often been undervalued talents or the other extreme, last resort, over rated head cases.

The guys like Wes and Rolo, we created by development. LMA was a decade in the making..turn the clock back five years, and we have at least what LMA was then in ML..I think we can do again as has been proven, develop those under rated guys that Neil has identified, while bringing in players to fill roles.

We have arguably ten spots at five positions to fill. It has to be easier (al la OKC a few years ago) to spend on a lot of younger guys, than to retain one guy and have zero to build around. (see Blazers two years ago)

Dunno man, just feel that it is time to improve the taem, and I do not see us as being much different win wise next year.

What do you mean "if it's true"? It hasn't even been reported that he refused. Just that they had a lengthy phone call instead.

Look stop giving LA shit. Through the years I have not been his biggest supporter but he did show up a few times when we really needed him. Regardless of what anyone says he is good. Its a big decision. Its not like jordan has decided either.

Jordan has decided on the Mavs.

So Dame flew from Portland to LA just to make a phone call?

What kind of whacky cell phone plan is he on?

giving him the benefit of the doubt and giving myself an out if he returns. ;)

Its all just to much for him...boo hoo...he has to choose which team he's gonna make millions from.

I wonder how Airball Jordan to the Mavs affects our various dynamics?
