watch how he opened the game against Denver. He’s literally walking the ball up the court and going through plays like it’s a scrimmage. His defense has been half-assed all year too.

he always scores a decent amount, and this keeps him out of the line of fire, but I think he is the biggest reason our team has struggled this season. Everyone on the team has made mistakes, but nobody is lacking energy like Lillard. He needs to get called out so he starts playing with a chip on his shoulder.

What about the injuries to Nurkic, Collins, Hood and Gasol? Do you think they could have had any effect?
No one works harder on that team than Lillard.
 
I actually agree that Dame has had streaks where he hasn't played up to his usual high standards. What is the more likely explanation? A) He has suddenly become lazy/developed a bad attitude. B) He is not 100% physically.

Occam's razor.

I am tempted to start a thread about what a wimp Stotts is, and how a good coach would sit Dame until he is healthy. What would be the point? No Blazer fan is happy with how the team has performed this season - so why are we picking fights with each other?

I never once said Dame is lazy overall. He’s not. I said he has been playing lazy for the last few games. I’m never going to back down from this, bc I saw it with my own eyes. You don’t have to agree.

Expectation is a resentment waiting to happen, and that is one HELL of an expectation if you expect a guy who goes out and plays 37+ minutes a game to do it EVERY single game. Lebron took entire games off when they tanked last year. He walked up the court, he had HORRIBLE body language. But those were just GAMES. He's not a bum.

And neither is Dame. It's literally one of the dumbest arguments one person could have on here. And to not see that A) It's asinine and B) Holds no merit to anything but a myopic hatred of -something-, that's on you.

But really, it's all on you until you realize you're being hypocritical on your stances. That's on you.

But if you want me to find games where CJ dogged it, it wouldn't be difficult. You'll latch on to this sentence cause it gives you a chance to say "Then find it", But I already have the knowledge that all players in the league take a couple games off or dog it.

dude I’ve never said CJ is a better player than Dame. I pointed out dame has been slacking the last few games, he has. I never said this makes him a shit player or a lazy player. I explicitly said it might be from injuries or personal issues. You guys then put a bunch of words in my mouth, and from there I got pissed off and insulted people when I shoudnt have.

please just drop it already. I would have deleted this thread if I could have a long time ago.

I'm in a better mood today too. Hey, I'm human, I apologize if I was a jerk towards you.

I will entertain your thoughts and opinions even if I disagree with you. IMO the one thing that I think Dame's shown more this year than I remember is frustration at his teammates. I'm not sure if that "proves" your point or not, but it does happen and you can tell he's used to guys being in certain spots who aren't there.

Based off the responses, the majority of people don't see what you're saying. Pointing to one half of basketball as proof also lacks any credibility. I could point to Meyers Game 4 performance in the WCF as proof he's the best big in Blazers history, but I doubt you'd agree... actually, maybe you would, nevermind.
