It isn't a surprise that they are listening (every team should listen, especially ours) it is a surprise that they let it get out. We don't let things out unless it is to Woj. So this tells me we wanted it out there. Either to light a fire in Dame (he could use it) or to drive up some value for another reason.

It's amico, he probably made it up.

And who cares anyway, every good player gets talked about, doesn't mean much.

"they let it get out". We cant control twitter hacks making crap up to get clicks.

Wait, there's Sam Amick and Sam Amico, and one of them is credible and the other is not. Is this the credible one?
Sam Amick works for USA today. Sam Amico runs a blog and has written articles on multiple syndications out of Cleveland. Amico often appears on Courtside.

That is certainly another possibility... Lets just say if it is true then we wanted it to get out for one reason or another (not saying it is true).

You listen to calls on every player. There's no news here, whether it's true or not.

Last week, the rumor was that Dame was being apprised by Neil & co about roster decisions.

Today, Neil is a candidate for the GM job in LA (a demotion for him btw), and listening to offers for Dame.

Wow what an organization fuck this shit if this happens

I can't believe Tunchi was right

You do realize its not really going to happen, right? This isnt a dmc "hes toxic lets get him out" ... Nothing wrong with exploratory talks.

Report: Neil Olshey will be trading Damian Lillard to the LA Lakers for Nick Young and a 1st round pick in this year's draft.

Report: Neil Olshey is in negotiations to become the next GM of the LA Lakers.

Source: Unnamed, but he is know to drive lawnmowers as a side job.

Ultimately there is less than a 1% chance we move Lillard anytime soon (imo) but I like that we are evaluating every possible avenue to get better. I have to say, it would be very weird to see him go. He basically is POR. Even moreso then Roy imo. More than Drexler. Well more than anyone I guess. Not happening but applaud them for doing their due diligence.

Casey works for the team but that doesn't mean he know if it happened or not. There is no reason to NOT listen. There is also very very little reason to do anything more. I would be pissed if this is wrong and they didn't listen. I would be more pissed if they did anything rash though.

More than LaMarcus Aldridge?
