Instead of going to the award ceremony he drove a box truck and handed out sneakers and signed autographs in Portland.
Class Act.
I thought this deserved mention.

Kyle Lowry, lol. And the shot was in Portland, not Houston.

THAT SAID-- We and Dame have ZERO bragging rights right now. He was bad. It wasn't just New Orleans' D. He was missing shots he usually makes. If you take away Dame's shot against Houston, he's probably thought of as a below average playoff performer. He was nowhere to be found in Memphis though he had some big games against Golden State. Anyway, I agree that Dame has a lot to prove next April. If we want to talk smack about our guy, he has to back it up.

Put a long strong defender on him and double him every time he touches the ball and he struggles. That's why Memphis and the Pelicans were such a bad match up for us

Both teams also had posts that we couldn't exploit.

So why did we continually run Lillard into pick n rolls at halfcourt in game 3, after they'd continously trapped them with great defenders the first two games?

We should've used Dame off the ball more. It's much harder to trap off of curls and handoffs, and they weren't doing so.

That's an excellent question. I'm not sure. Has anybody asked Stotts? I'd be interested in hearing his response.

There are obviously dynamics that we aren't aware of, but I doubt the concept of playing Dame off the ball is something Stotts is unaware of.
