Lillard to play in summer league???

They have to add a PG to the summer league roster. Yes CJ needs minutes at PG but he also needs minutes as a SG. And more importantly the other players like TRob (I assume he will play) and Crabbe need to play with a true PG. Otherwise they will all look bad.

CJ needs time to develop into a back up PG. But don't shatter his confidence by only playing him there. It will be frustrating for us all to watch. I could be wrong, but I doubt he will shine there.

Makes sense. Bayless hogged every Summer League possession as a PG pretender, ruining Koponen's series. The next summer, McMillan was surprised how tall Petteri is, a full 6-5. Bayless had made his rival so invisible, that no one had even glimpsed the most basic thing, his height.

A real PG will allow truer evaluations of players.

I still think the bigger story is that Thomas Robinson is not playing. I would REALLY like him to play.

My guess is he will play. He's still a Rocket until the 10th, so we can't announce him.
