Yes, I would take him back too. People change; people grow.
Sure. But IMO he's done growing.

Really? Who's his coach?
Exactly.
He gets back here and would revert. He's NEVER liked post play.
He's a Center now. We don't need one.
That selfish bastard would never come off the bench.
If we're talking 2-3 years from now, he can be Nurk's backup.Really? Who's his coach?

@dviss1 I can’t wait til we bring him back and we start dominating......
Yeah, his YMCA old man mid range jumper should be golden. His game is not build on athleticsism, even at 35 years or more he can be a very good player
Yeah. I'm ready to make up too just to stop the madness.Freaking anything but Aminu at PF
No joke.I would take an Aldridge coming off the bench defensively at 36 over Kanter right now.

If he wants to ring chase in Portland on a reasonable deal, or get traded here for our existing "PFs", I'd give him a shot. I'm not seeing any better options walking in that door."I still want to end my legacy on a high note, instead of fading into obscurity."
Its probably more about him than him giving a damn about the Blazers. He knows wherever he goes, he'll get relegated into a bench role sooner, rather than later, in Portland, he has a pre-existing legacy he probably thinks he can recapture and end his career on a good note.
But if he did how much could they realistically pay him to play here. The Blazers would have to get a pretty good deal to be able to take him back. I would think the only way he could come back would be to take a pretty big cut.The problem is I don't see LaMarcus ever accepting a bench role.
Exactly!Dame is recruiting an All Star power forward who says he wants to play in Portland. And who says he knows it's Dame's team. And people are rejecting the idea?
Hahaha.

Fair enough.I don't believe what LaMarcus says.

Well Aldridge is still under contract next year and the Spurs would have to eat $7 million dollars two years from now if they wanted him off the team. But if he did how much could they realistically pay him to play here. What's Dame supposed to say though? "Fuck that guy, we don't want him back!" What would that accomplish?Funny to see so much hate. Fact is, Dame knows better than any of us if bringing LA back is the right decision. If he is onboard with it, everyone should be onboard with it.

When hell is frostySo, when's Lillard going to SA?
The HELL he does! He wanted Melo on the team. He backs Stotts.Fact is, Dame knows better than any of us if bringing LA back is the right decision.

Dame is a hell of a player, but I don't want him making personnel decisions.

Why?lmao! So we should have posters in this forum make those decisions? I will trust Lillards judgement over anyone in this forums judgement 24/7.
