https://www.inquirer.com/news/penns...racist-rant-viral-tiktok-reddit-20230224.htmlOh man, I want to know how that ends. That lady is exactly whats wrong with our country. And I am willing to bet you the house that I don't own, that I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, who she voted for.
It's hilarious how racist people will always project....er, I mean, accuse others of being racist.
That stupid cow didn't realize that she was being recorded. I hope she gets what she fucking deserves.
Both my parents grew up Catholic. In devoutly Catholic homes. My dad has 5 siblings my mom has 7 siblings. Not a single kid is currently a Catholic on either side.
My wife grew up in a strong Catholic household and went to Catholic school in North Portland from 1st-12th. She has a strong disdain for anything that has to do with organized religion.
Somewhere along the way, the Catholic religion has really fucked up.
We used to go to mass growing up on Christmas Eve and Easter. Church seemed clique-ey. My dad would walk around shaking hands and saying hi to people of his childhood.
I’ll never understand organized religion
Not trying to get a religious argument going. I was just trying to use an example of why I'm okay with certain groups using certain terms with each other. It's a shared experience. A "bond" if you will. As far as the "organized" part of it goes, I took what worked and ignored the bullshit. And came away with some good stuff. When I attend services, I attend on my terms and those of my maker. Fuck everyone else's opinion. I too don't have a great deal of love for organized religion, but I acknowledge that there are some I actually respect, because they are sincere and do good things. But then, I'm not a big joiner in much of anything (other than the SC2 Clown Posse of course). But some people need to be a part of something they consider bigger than themselves, and regardless of how I might feel, they have every right to pursue what works for them so long as they don't foist it on me. Unfortunately, too many religious conservatives try to do just that and DO want to force their views on the rest of the country. Screw them too. I'll just keep on doing what works for me.........Same here (minus the growing up in a catholic household, etc). I've never understand nor will I understand, the pull behind being in a cult.
Tucker Carlson should really make his wife stay at home......"I'm not racist, you're a victim!"
2 seconds later
"they're filming me because I'm white and they're racist against white people!!!!"

For the most part it's a religion built around hypocrisy.I can agree with this. Unfortunately my interactions with the deeply religious (other than my amazing grandmas who have passed by I still adore) is that religious are some of the most judgmental and holier than thou that I have ever met
For the most part it's a religion built around hypocrisy.
A lot of the shit they say about gay people or abortion would 100% not be something that Jesus would ever have supported.
Here's my feeling.... is it possible there's something bigger than us and beyond what we can know? Sure. It's definitely possible.
It's definitely not something crafted by man. People have been using religion to control the masses for thousands of years. I don't trust anything that has passed through the hands of other people. It's corrupt and evil. It's hilarious that people are STILL creating religions like Scientology and people are STILL falling for it.
I didn't like rap when I was in my younger years so much, but at close to 73 I've developed a taste for some. Ive also developed a taste for spinach in my recent years. Ive always been one to try and take on new things and challenge myself. For hundreds of years white people used the "N" word to make black people uncomfortable....some still do...at some pt after the Civil Rights movement of the 60s...black people took the word back and owned it which ironically makes white people uncomfortable today. Karma is a bitch. Lots of rap lyrics make me uncomfortable like bitch, ho, etc...references to street violence. I don't listen to rap or buy rap records for the same reason I don't buy Grand Theft Auto video games....it's out of my lane. I believe in the right to choose so I make choices about what I consume...I understand where these things come from but rap is like Chinese Opera to me....not something that I find entertaining. I'd rather read Maya Angelou or Langston Hughes. Choices.
Proving that you can start dumb and still get dumberThis is what I love about this place. We can start off with a thread that is dumb, and it can turn into a discussion about religion.

My son and his buddies listened to it so I've heard enough to know I much prefer spinach . I've listened to every Dame album and don't like one song on any of them either...just not my thing. I like soul, R&B, funk, motown, reggae, jazz and all sorts of black music but rap and it's lyrical content has nothing to hold my attention. I prefer Acid Jazz to rap....it's more musical and has more that appeals to me. Choices.I didn't lie rap when I was in my younger years so much, but at close to 73 I've developed a taste for some. You have to like this.I've listened to every Dame album and don't like one song on any of them either...just not my thing.

The way the Free Hugs kid's story ended is still so fucking tragic.
And yet you post here in this den of Blazers wackiness?
The songs with lots of repetitive phrasing isn't all that appealing to me. #9 & why don't we do it the road wasn't my fav.musically just doesn't move me at all...lyrics are ok but Dame's vocal phrasing just is so repetitious. I'm sure rap fans love it. I would change the station if it came on the radio. Nothing against folks who dig it...that's cool, just not my jam and in all fairness... mosthip hop fans would probably not like my original music either.
It scares me to think that there are people like you that think like this walking around consuming the same oxygen that my family does. Quite nerve wracking actually. While sitting on the Blazers’ plane the other night during a snowstorm, Lillard filmed himself singing a rap song featuring the N-word. My question is, how is that any different from Meyers Leonard using a racial epithet for Jews? Leonard, in fact, said he didn’t know what the word meant, but Lillard clearly knows what the N-Word means. Why did Leonard get roundly attacked for his mistake while Lillard gets no criticism at all?
You still in Hawaii?Hold on, I have only read the original post....is this a joke thread that got me?
Or how "ANYBODY" would be better than Stotts. This is what I love about this place. We can start off with a thread that is dumb, and it can turn into a discussion about religion.
YOU RANG FAMS!?!?Proving that you can start dumb and still get dumber
Just got home yo!You still in Hawaii?
Just got home yo!
Originally had us delayed for 3 days and getting home tonight at 10pm!!!! Kauai > Oakland> drive to San Jose> Denver> PDX. Long ass way to get home, but we made it. And my cars are stuck up in our driveway...HA!
Wangster....(wannabe gangster)....I can see you owning that tag bro..CARNAL.....ESE..... these are terms used in hispanic culture between crews and friends. Using the "N word with an A, not an R" is no different in the African American community in my experience growing up around my friends. That's just common sense though. This thread is a joke. Don't drop the N bomb on people, and you won't have any problems. Why somebody would even be thinking about this worries me.
This is some of the crew I grew up with, childhood friends....and we get together every now and then.... you guys would laugh at how many times a night I even get called it.
