He led the NBA in 4th qtr scoring this year so I don't buy this theoryHe was horrendous against San Antonio in the playoffs last year too. 17.4% from three in that series. This whole year his FG% and 3pt% numbers have been down. The slump started after The Shot against Houston.

Yes, it could be his back. But when Batum was in his slump, he was all to eager to blame it on his back. Maybe Damian doesn't want to make excuses or whatever, but I don't hear him, or anyone close to the team bringing it up. So it's pure speculation.
Even when he was cold shooting, he didn't seem to have a problem taking it to the rim with abandon. Not sure that is something a guy with a gimpy back would want to do.
mental
I will admit that Dame has been playing absolutely horrible this last month. I wish he would get out of this funk
We're actually using the bench for the first time in those 3 seasons. I get it..he's in a shooting slump but to throw his season away is a bit of a stretch from my viewVolume and efficiency are not the same. His shooting percentage in the last five minutes of a game this year is far worse than his first or second year in the league.
It seem to me that this is a big part of coaching. Dang Coach, what you doing???

Anything was better than McMillan!I remember way back when when you liked Terry![]()

I think Terry is a helluva coach! I was just making a dig on McMillanUnfortunately, I think Terry is falling by the same way side for Marzy.
He is absolutely the best coach we have had since Mike Dunlevy. Not sure he is doing his job with Damian though. An He does not have the best offense I have ever seen either,
just a whole hell of a lot better than McMillan.
I don't think Damian is as terrible on defense as some people say though. It's the way the Blazers play the pick and roll. On most teams, the center will come out more to give the PG more time to recover, but the Blazers have Rolo sit back...partially because he's not to fleet a foot.
That's the frustrating thing, at times he looks like a true super star. It's not just one bad game we're talking about here, Lillard has been laying eggs like this quite often in 2015.So, Lillard isn't born to greatness any more?

LA has not been a softy since the thumb injury. He's the heart of the team now, and it doesn't look like he'll be enough. Too bad Matthews is hurt. I think all of Damian's problems are stemming from his shitty shooting. He couldn't even attack a hobbled Conley.
His drinking like a fish is starting to really affect his game.
I think so, too.It may not happen by the end of the series with Memphis, but I strongly suspect that whatever is hampering his game is fixable and by next season he will have regained whatever health/mojo/whatever that he's missing.
