Lin misses practice today because of Flu!

Seen countless times players have flu type symptoms, to the point of getting IV fluid, come out on the court and play at their top level.

Got to expect Lin will play and be at full strength.

Makes you wonder...why do you see so much of this, but never see a player accidentally puke all over their defensive assignment?

Usually the flu's the players get are nipped right away and treated ASAP. If it's bad they wont play (Deng last season in the playoffs IIRC)

I would just hate to give Rockets fans excuses to use should the Blazers win.
Oh, there will be excuses. The Houston fans are already perfecting them in anticipation of the humiliation coming there way.

Uh oh, flu game Linsanity coming, i can see it now on BSPN.

The flu and a stomach bug aren't the same thing.

Must have been caused from all that air on his over-the-backboard floater. ;)

Lin should not play if he's got a contagious flu. If he does he should be required to wear a mask gloves etc and they should clean the game ball everytime he touches the damned thing

His team has to touch the same ball. And the rockets are weak mentally, if everyone got sick it would only help the more determined team!

Exactly. There's no such thing as a "24 hour" flu. When that happens, you ate something you shouldn't have. He'll be fine by game time.

Doesn't Lin know who's house it is?

Like many a play during last years season, this gif was irretrievably ruined by the presence of Luke Babbitt.

Tying your statement into the playoffs, what is more embarrassing for Houston's defense: LA putting up 46 and 18 or Luke Fucking Babbitt putting up 24 and 7?

Per Twitter, Lin feels better and is "good to go" tonight.

Fine by me. We'll see what his energy level is tonight.
