Especially considering the fact that Diener fills both the "Travis" void and the "TO-averse white PG" void that were created by the Camby trade. Hunter accomplishes none of that.

Even if he were a better choice, he would have needed to be waived by last Monday in order to be available to be on a playoff roster. The Bulls didn't waive him until yesterday.

That is because you don't understand why Diener was brought in. He was brought in so he wouldn't contend for playing time with Rudy and Bayless. He was brought in to be a guy who will fit in well, sit on the bench, and STFU until needed in very bad situations where we have injury and or foul trouble.
