This year's team is very predictable. The Rangers will pull at least two wins on the road out of their ass against Montreal and lose at home as usual.

This poster is very predictable. The Rangers are playoff bound yet again and a top team in the league but he will whine and complain as if he's watching the worst team in the history of organized sports as usual.

It's a complete joke at this point. Nobody claiming to be a fan acts like this.

Team has the 5th most points in the whole NHL. Yet people complain often. Very strange.

And if the predictable comeback is they aren't built for the playoffs, and they will flop against the Habs...okay how about we watch and see. Once again, there will be plenty of time for most of you to gloat if they lose to the Habs. So wait 4 weeks or so and then go for it if we get knocked out early.

It's one thing to be able to stock pile a bunch of points in the regular season. It's completely different playing the same highly-skilled team in a 7-game series. Weaknesses get exposed. There can't be any poster on this site that thinks the Rangers d is stout and sound or that their PK is even good at this point. NOT ONE. Those are the Rangers weaknesses and they will likely be exposed by a team like Montreal, among others. No big deal. We all want the Rangers to win the cup but, there are many here that recognize they have a difficult path (made slightly less difficult by making it into the Atlantic bracket). Totally on board to see how it shakes out but not going to be heartbroken if they get bounced early.

This is a very reasonable post that I doubt anybody would disagree with (other than the fact that the Atlantic bracket is INFINITELY less difficult). There is a huge difference between the general observations made in the above, and the constant negativity, hostility and hyperbole often repeated here, even while the team is playing lights-out, as if the Rangers wouldn't be able to beat a high school girls team.
