Heading down with my wife and daughter to see what LMU has to offer. This is very exciting. Only drawback, they tried to say we had to stay in the @EL PRESIDENTE suite…..told them that might be a deal breaker!

My Junior Year, I got to stay in these brand new dorms.

The view from my window, was the Pacific Ocean AND the Hollywood Sign.

I guess they just finished last year during Covid, a brand new freshman dorm. We took the virtual tour and it was NIIICE!

I was a GDI starting my soph. year. Lived next door to our starting quarterback.

I lived in the dorms until I got my degree, it was only 2 and 1/2 years for me as I crammed it all to get my degree quick as I was also working pretty much full-time after my first semester and was making too much money to stay in school. I believe I only lived in new dorms in the summer before my Junior (and last) year. It was an interesting experience as my suite-mate was Japanese and all he ate was dry fish - our kitchen was unusual to say the least.

Man the visit got postponed 2 weeks til the end of October. Of course the season will be going on and we will be in Charlotte…… so I can’t go. I’m super bummed man.

Huntington Beach sucks. All of the 909 hangs there. At worst, Hermosa gets people from Long Beach

They revamped the area by Burton Chase park, just down from the hotel opposite direction from Venice on Admiralty. New Trader Joe's right on the water and some new eating spots.

I like Whole Foods and Costco and have even found lingonberry sauce at Trader Joe's and maybe even Swedish pancake mix.
