That was a tough loss for the Dons. UP is just too tough! Quality of the team actually didn't go into her decision on which school she chose. Came up to the coaches, major and location. Every school in the WCC besides St Mary's recruited her. She's just pumped to be playing D1 Soccer to be honest.

Nice pass! Certainly not at that level, but both my kids are the seemingly only kids that try to hit teammates with smart passes like that. Think I like that more than when they score goals.

Thats fantastic though. World need more passers out there. Olivia has ALWAYS been the player on her team that thinks pass first. She just realized that when nobody is open, she shoots, HA!
At every level it has taken time for her teammates to figure out that if they move to get open instead of calling for the ball they will get it. It basically took my daughters whole freshman season for these girls to realize this.

Well that is a wrap on her freshman season. She took Sunday off, and has hit the gym and pool everyday since. UP coach who recruited her heavy texted me yesterday and said she should have made the all conference honorable mention team as well. So that was cool to hear. The girl in the graphic on the right who DID make the Honorable mention team is a 23 year old 5th year senior. She had 3 goals and 1 assist in 1,350 minutes.....my daughter had 3 goals and 2 assists in 487 minutes played..... but whatever.
Spring soccer starts Feb 1st! LFG!!!!!

Summer League in full effect/affect for the girl.
USL-W semipro league for current and former college players. She is having a blast. Big win yesterday up in Tacoma. Keeping in shape til camp starts end of July.
