"This is the greatest press conference I have been too"

Larry Miller...

Something isn't being told here

There has to be a reason why he left and team close to contending in LA for Portland, a team that isn't.

It's not like he was the assistant GM there. He was the VP of basketball operations.

This guy is a snake.

This was expected.

Nothing wrong with being a snake as long as he's a good one.

He is smooth.

I do not think Caleb will be coach, even with what Olshey said.

My couple concerns is he doesn't seem like a Portland guy (much more of an LA guy) and is he really serious about Canales being coach.

Overall, very excited to have him on board!

My favorite words from Neil Olshey . . .

"Last year we took a step backwards, but this year we can take a big step forward."

:clap::clap::clap:

Still can't get over Olshey mentioning Penn and KP in his first few minutes of the presser.

Like it! I don't sense a Yes Man, and if it's Bert Kolde who made this happen, well, it's the first time I've thought positively of Kolde perhaps ever.

clippers are kinda tapped out, blazers offered a chance to build from more or less the ground up, much more enticing imo

Frickin A man, can't you just be satisfied he chose POR and not looking for some "untold reason", LOL

The guy hasn't done a thing for Portland and Kaleb now looks like a possibility to be the head coach

No, I'm not satisfied

what the hell else is he gonna say, rule caleb out? unreal

The Blazers offer a chance to build a legacy. Cap space, two lotto picks, and a chance to completely remake a team in his image. He can write his own ticket.

I know, he's been GM for 40mins and has yet to make a trade!

i think olshey nailed it when he described the blazers perception league wide, said they were thought highly of, and that the blazers are in a vacuum locally that blows everything out of proprotion

spot on

U got it, like a kid with all the toys he's ever wanted and now he gets to play with thrm, frankly for a GM who wants to really make his mark and team, its a great opportunity

Jerry West had accomplished everything with the Lakers. Was there as a GM for like 20 years.

This guy has been the VP of basketball operations for 2, and is a move or two away from being a serious contender.

Big difference.

i bet PA is getting itchy to blow some money :)

lets get a couple more draft picks

I bet you're one of the 5 people who walked into the Blazers office and asked for an application for the GM position.
