So...pretty much all local commercials suck and has no weight in whether or not superstars come to Portland or not.

Well, duh. I never said it was better down here. Just bigger, more expensive and warmer.

Warmer is certainly better - and not feeling like one is living in an aquarium is also a blessing.

I loved Portland, loved the people, cost of living - but the weather, for me, is a huge damper on things - and at least for me, the bigger distances and costs are well worth it for having the great San Diego weather (not to mention that North county is amazingly beautiful).

The biggest thing I really miss is going to the Rose garden for games.
