I didn't see if he got the shot off in time, but there's absolutely no question that he was fouled before the shot under the basket.

The refs did a very poor job from the start of the game.

The refs rightly swallowed their whistles in the last seconds of a game, if it was a foul it wasn't a blatant foul, and I would hate to see the game decided on foul shots against us in that situation, so I have no complaints with the call. It was an airball, the shot clock hit zero, we lost, move on.

Howard just about had Aldridge's jersey ripped off while Aldridge was driving under the basket. That's about as blatant as you can get. If you don't think he was fouled you likely just didn't see the play very well.

I certainly didn't key on the foul, maybe I missed it. But that still doesn't change the fact that counting on the refs to bail you out of a busted play in the final minute of a game is foolishness at best.

The team had an execution problem in the last two minutes, not a referee problem.
