Oh based off the poll?wrong group...
San Antonio. I don't consider them a lock though, that's just if I had to pick.

Your Dicks in what?
YOU sir are better than this.Must resist Mrs. HCP joke...

I think it's a generational thing. SVG managed to get Dwight Howard to look awesome and get to an NBA Finals. Compare what Howard did with Van Gundy to what he did with all the other coaches he's had... Likewise I don't think Derek Rose would've come CLOSE to league MVP if it wasn't for Thibs. (Of course, downside is he'd probably still be playing, and for a lot more than the minimum.)Thibs was a great asst coach..maybe the best but as a head coach he grates on players and the front office the way Stan Van Gundy does..both have a history of dysfunction
Forgot about Millsap.
Fair, but I'm not sure how anyone could argue that that lineup won't be very good. This Tweet haha... The sample size makes the stat meaningless but let's state the stat as if it has meaning anyway.
When you're guards and Center can't defend, you won't be very good.Fair, but I'm not sure how anyone could argue that that lineup won't be very good.
Murray/Harris/Millsap/Jokic was +11.5 last year and in the 78th percentile on D.When you're guards and Center can't defend, you won't be very good.
Cite the stat? Chandler was still a good defender. That lineup was also worse on offense with Millsap in there instead of Lyles.Murray/Harris/Millsap/Jokic was +11.5 last year and in the 78th percentile on D.
And Chandler wasn't good last year.
DENVER? Lol.
A team that can't defend added a midget who can't defend. How do they get better, when the one player they acquired makes all their problems worse? They were already a very good scoring team, and I see IT as someone who could help them maintain but not improve that. They were such a good offense that his addition doesn't improve that end. Millsap is ageing and should take a step back, and he also wasn't of much help since he hurt their offense almost as much as he helped their defense.
And OKC? They just added the PG version if Melo. How did they get better???
So why the hell are they a lock?
Herp-a-derp.Jokic something, something triple double. Something something triple double.
Westbrick something, something triple double. Something something triple double.
Triple double something something something, triple double something something something.
Playoffs. Triple double, something something.

What does Millsap do good offensively other than pass? He's not efficient, and isn't a high clip scorer anymore. His defense has also regressed a lot. He's regressing. He'll be worse next year, and that's even if he's able to stay healthy.https://www.cleaningtheglass.com/st...n=1514&on=2631&on=1883&on=2530&all_or_any=all
Actually underestimated. 97th percentile on O, 86th on D.
They were were also slightly worse on O with Lyles + Jokic/Harris/Murray and fell to the 46th percentile on D.
Plus minus numbers can be noisy, but look at the talent. You have arguably the best offensive center in Jokic alongside two highly efficient guards and a very good two-way PF. Jokic's defensive rebounding and ability to limit the # of attempts around the rim also help compensate for his bad pnr D and rim protection. Don't me wrong either, he's still below average on that end and his weaknesses will likely be more exposed in the playoffs.

I don't understand how they can be good defensively with that lineup. They'll be worse with IT though. Teams are still learning to guard Jokic too.
They'll be solid. But they shouldn't be considered above us until they actually do something.

He's an average shooter. His dribbling doesn't really open anything up and he's slowing down a little so I wouldn't say that's good either. He's becoming an average starting PF.He's not inefficient either though.
He can dribble, pass, and shoot at a solid level for a PF. Good IQ, sets solid screens, mid post option in late clock, can beat switches in the post.....
And yes he's older, but he's also not a guy that relies on athleticism.
Agree to disagree. He was a top 10 (arguably top 5) PF at age 31.He's an average shooter. His dribbling doesn't really open anything up and he's slowing down a little so I wouldn't say that's good either. He's becoming an average starting PF.
8-10 wins?! Haha. So they're gonna be a 54-56 win team if Millsap plays 70 games?Agree to disagree. He was a top 10 (arguably top 5) PF at age 31.
First year with a new team last year and his injury was a freak one. 70 games of 33 year old Millsap is still worth 8-10 wins imo.
8-10 wins over a full season, yes. Last year he only played 39 so I think Denver missed out on 4 or so wins last year w/o him.8-10 wins?! Haha. So they're gonna be a 54-56 win team if Millsap plays 70 games?
You're overeating him greatly. 8 to 10 wins... that's insane.8-10 wins over a full season, yes. Last year he only played 39 so I think Denver missed out on 4 or so wins last year w/o him.
Before last year he'd been worth nearly 12 wins a season the last 3 years, in terms of RPM.You're overeating him greatly. 8 to 10 wins... that's insane.
Well his BPM has fallen through the floor. Before last year he'd been worth nearly 12 wins a season the last 3 years, in terms of RPM.
