He's not a top 4 guy on this team. For all the complaining about Staal and Girardi, I've seen those guys shut down Crosby, Ovie, ect... a ton. I've never seen Hamonic do that on a consistent basis. Just another example of fans overrating players on small market teams nobody cares about.

They are complete morons over there. Ham0nic is solid. Nothing more. Plus, the fact that he asked to be traded only lowers his value. The fact he's right raises his value some. He has little to no offensive ability. This could turn out to be a blessing for them. They could use Hamonic to unload one of the moronic contracts their stupid GM gave up to Grabovski or Kulemin. Thinking Grabovski and Hamonic for Vrbata, Hamhuis and a first. Caschmucks are desperate for any young defenseman that are solid. Both Hamhuis and Vrbata are UFA next year. They can then use the moronic money their dumb GM spent on Grabovski and sign Okposo who is a really good player.

Another way they could go is dump Kulemin, Harmonic and get back Giordano, Backstrom and a prospect. Money is even.

71, until whatever the reason is that the kid feels the need to return home (could be sick family member as an example) comes out everyone should give the kid the benefit of the doubt.
