I tried using L before....people were like "wtf?"....which ironicaly is almost as bad is "LOL"

The only thing lamer than using leetspeak is getting your panties in a bunch over it.
 
Why's it called 1337 speak anyway? I don't see anything 'elite' about it. If anything, it's for loser nerds who stay in their basement and play halo for 12 hours a day.
