Dying in a suicide bombing, getting randomly shot, stabbed or ran over scares me far less than Trump's response to terrorist attacks.

I lived in London in 1993. My friend worked on the local newspaper for where this happened. We had an Irish flatmate. It didn't occur to us for a second to think of him differently. And isn't it funny that all you right-wing Americans get your panties in a bunch for deaths in the UK but aren't motivated to crack down on right-wing militias in your own backyard or police who shoot unarmed teenagers? Maybe, just bear with me here, maybe it has more to do with xenophobia than concern about deathrates?

We need to have zero tolerance for these types of incidents. I don't see the sense in comparing the death rates of these random acts of violence to car accidents or cancer and say, "no big deal".

You shouldn't judge someone on the basis of being Irish, but what about judging them on the basis of being a member of the IRA? Not everyone in the IRA actually set off a bomb. No one is concerned that Muslims are linked via ethnicity, it's the link of their religion which gives a basis for this type of activity.
