The backcourt works fine as a pairing, as they've shown they can be part of a top 10 defense. Offensively, they fit. The problem isn't with the pairing. Thebreason to trade CJ would be to put ourselves in a better position to win a championship in the next 7 years, and trading for Gordon doesnt do that.

George this year, is probably the best perimeter defender in the league. And he can shoot, and he can create for himself. He's the perfect target save for his contract situation. But this is the kinda risk we need to be willing to take.
