I wonder if we could somehow end up in a 3 team trade. Could look to move Shabazz to the Hornets in the event Kemba does get moved.
And get what back? I'd doubt they'd want Shabazz as they'd be going into a full rebuild.

You guys seems crazy. Cj is so good as Dame is. No chance we will trade Cj, this stills a young team. Try another coach, with doenst work, we trade one of them. To soon to give up on CJ. We are 6th in the west
First off, CJ is not as good as Dame. Come on. I love CJ too man but to give this team balance again, he needs to be the sacrifice

I need the 'experts' to assess this trade;

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ybrb6gu2

Starting Lineup

PG Walker
SG Dame
SF Kidd Gilgrist(or Turner)
PF Collins
C Nurk

Bench

PG Dame
SG Connaughton/Lamb
SF Turner( or Kidd Gilgrist)/Harkless
PF Davis/Vonleh
C Leonard

If Walker is able to play SG you can flip flop him and Dame.

I know zilch about salary cap and how it works so go easy if it totally sucks.

(It sucks doesn't it?):smiley-frown:

I don't think I want to think about the lack of floor spacing when you subtract CJ and add MKG + Kemba...

not really...the deadline is coming up and he'll bring the biggest impact player in a trade of anyone not named Dame....it happens all the time...New Orleans traded Chris Paul....Grizz traded Pau Gasol for his chubby little brother...if you can get a Greek Freak for CJ you do it. If you can get Anthony Davis for CJ...you do it..even Babe Ruth got traded...in those days that was like trading MJ

Sure I will Take Giannis or AD for CJ, but I assume he was talking about trading CJ for average players, not the top players in the NBA. We have a better chance of getting another Giannis in the draft #15 where he was taken originally, then trading for him now.

To me this is a crap shoot and Giannis is a proven player...and in reference to this trade deadline.....I'm speculating trades now....not offseason draft picks...we're already really young

Oh I agree it is a crapshoot. So is the top of the lottery. I am just saying there is no way we are getting Giannis or AD for CJ.

If you don’t think this trade is likely, I have two words for you: Shabazz Napier.

Is that French for "it's likely"?

I wouldn't trade Tim Quarterman for Blake Griffin!
He got arrested yesterday for ramming his car into a cop car in a high speed chase....felony arrest...don't think Quarterman will be back anytime soon

UTA is shopping Hood, apparently a lot of suitors after him

Stein: Potential Blazers Backcourt Breakup Something to ‘Monitor’

New York Times writer Marc Stein mentions Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum in his weekly newsletter.

Two situations to monitor more closely in terms of potential big-name defections: Will Boston ultimately feel the need to trade Irving before he can become a free agent next summer? And will Portland persist with the starry but stagnant backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum — or trade one of them to aggressively remake the roster?

Does someone (cough, @KingSpeed ) have access to NYT to check the actual date of this newletter?

I like Stein, but he made a prediction back in January, and the prediction was wrong. If he's saying it could still happen, then I'm not impressed unless he hears of an actual rumor.

/end thread.

Sounds like he's just doubling down on his previous baseless speculation.
