I live in a basement apartment. Sux, I know.

Anyhoo....

I'm simply looking for a good blue-ray player that has wi-fi built-in. I want to start using Netflix. The internet connection is upstairs, and I get all my internet via wi-fi.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. :)

If God had wanted us to have high def video, he would have built HDMI cables into the backs of our heads.

Instead, He gave us Monoprice.com!!

We have a Sony one that works well via wi-fi. I'm not at home, though, so can't get you the model number at this point. It works great, though!

Go to Costco. They'll have what you want at a good price. If it doesn't do what you want they'll take it back no questions asked.

Or look at Fry's ad. It's on their website. The big weekend ad comes out on Friday. If there is a Blu-ray player google the model number and read the reviews.

You know that one of the best blue ray players on the market today is the PS3 and this PS4 is about to come out at the end of this year. I would just go get a PS3 if all you want it for is movies.

This. You can buy apps for it and upgrade the software.

I'm almost inclined to give up on DVD and Blu Ray and just buy everything on iTunes. Apple TV is $99, runs Netflix and more. Does WiFi. If you buy movies in the cloud, today you might get DVD quality streaming, but when they do Blu Ray quality in the future, your movie in the cloud will be upgraded for free, too.

:MARIS61: Choices!!

Check cnet.com for reviews.
I'm happy with the Panasonic I have.
Love me some monoprice!

I love my PS3 for games and movies. Like I said it's still one of the best on the market today!
