Looking Forward

Looking forward to getting a great trade haul for Dame.

Dreading the though of seeing irrelevant starter(s) coming back and weak protected picks. I'd rather have nothing happen than that.

Looking very forward to seeing Scoot irrespective of what happens with Dame. I've been very impressed with his maturity and focus while getting put in such an awkward situation.

And if that does happen....are you still going to ask Dame not to show up to the arena?

Looking forward to Shaedon and Scoot leading Blazer Dynasty

Looking forward to Dame's HOF speech

I look forward to the day when there are not any Dame-related threads on the front page.

Looking forward to talking about actual basketball.

Looking forward seeing how the youth movement goes, good and bad.

Looking forward to training camp.
Looking forward to Dame-related threads well into next season, mostly expressing relief that he's still a Blazer, sometimes claiming they never really doubted him for a minute, and all celebrating exciting win after exciting win.

Amen...Thompson, Eason, plus picks for Dame!

I don't know Dame and if he did I doubt he cares what my opinion is.

Are you saying if I was part of Blazers management? Yeah I'd certainly consider asking Dame if it's best for him to stay home. That discussion might come up organically in communications with his agent if we couldn't find a trade before that though.

Dame has three years left on his contract.
Cronin won't set a self-imposed deadline. There is no guarantee by what date Dame will be traded.
Therefore, I think it's unlikely Dame will be sitting at home if he's still on the roster at the beginning of the season.

Hey, for me....as a Colts fan....I have the same crap going on with Jonathan Taylor. If you add the fact that as a Beaver fan and not knowing whether or not there is going to even be a conference to play in next year.....

My entire sports experience is on some sort of evil hold. As it is right now, I might just walk away from the whole fricking thing.

Just grab that bass, play a riff, and let the blues flow...

There's nothing but doubt...
Surrounding my Beavs...
JT's holding out...
and Dame wants to leave...
And it's so hard...following teams these days
I got the...miserable sports fan blues!!

I'm looking forward to seeing Dame Haters eat a shit ton of crow.

Been hearing this for years when all the Dame is disgruntled discussions started as well as some posters questioning if it was better for the Blazers to consider trading Dame.

What exactly are "Dame Haters" going to eat shit about? Dame in the last few months has proven their arguments much more than what the delusional Dame lovers have been saying.

I think it comes down to Cronin's suspicion of when a Dame trade is likely to happen. If he thinks there's a very high chance it will happen by December then I could certainly see him having Dame sit for a couple months.

Hell; Cronin has had Dame sit for a couple months 100% of the seasons he's been in charge.

I thought this thread was going to be about discussing potential young/long term options at the 4 position. I'm disappointed.

I was in the delusional lover category and I can agree with this.
