Get a Toyota, just not from the dealership in Gladstone. Bought my last car from them, less than 24 hours later I put my elbow on the door paneling and it falls through (was certified pre owned, and obviously damaged and not fixed but rather covered up) I drive it in (again less than 24 hours after I purchased it) and tell them what happened only for them to give me some bullshit about how it's not their problem.
I take a share of the blame, and learned a valuable lesson, but that doesn't make their shitty business practices okay.
Edit: Just saw the date of OP...

I like honda (other than as they get older they seem to get stolen like crazy).Yeah, Toyotas and Hondas are the shit. Not having to always be at the mechanic rocks
It's time to buy a car.
We want something that gets great MPG. We want something roomy. Something comfortable.
We were looking at a Camry, but we're not limited to Toyota.
Any suggestions?
once you've gone Prius...you'll never go back!
If you want roomy...my coworker bought a new Dodge Dart couple years ago and loved it...it's roomier than the CamryThe new Prius looks like a clown car.I have 2005 Prius.
I only had to do brakes once, and replace tires. It had a couple of recalls, didn't cost us anything, didn't notice a reason why they were needed.
It's got a few parking lot dings, but otherwise is in great shape.
Not exciting, but I have had other things on which I prefer to spend my money.
Though we might get a 2nd car. I'm thinking a VW GTI.
The last American made car I owned literally fell apart with use. The head liner in the passenger compartment started sagging. It required several CV boot replacements, and other expensive repairs. I won't buy American again.
I had two VW vans and loved them both. The first one, a bus, I paid about what it cost new, and it was 20 years old. Today it's worth ~$20K. I would definitely buy another.
The Prius is my first Toyota, and I would certainly consider a new one. The Prius 4 looks really nice.

Why? I guess you also hate Audi then.I hate vw.
What you need SOUNDS like Prius if you aren't paying attention.Guess I should get one.
barfo
I've got the Prius 3..got it new in 13..I love the car now that I'm used to it. I've owned several VW vans back in the day. All had transaxle problems for some reason but when they ran they were greatI have 2005 Prius.

CashDid you pay cash or finance it?
HCP wants an iphone because it just works but buys a fucking AUDI..hahahahahahahahahshahahahahahahahahahaahhaahhaahhahahahaOld thread but ill drop knowledge for you scrubs.
Toyota. All the hype about reliability is true. Ive owned several corollas and never had to do shit for repairs. They arent luxurious, they arent fun, they just work.
If you buy toyota its usually made in america, so dont believe the you arent suppoting the american economy bs. Most american cars are built in mexico, so buy a ford and support the HCPs hombres.
This is the best looking one, some of the more optioned ones look downright nice.I've got the Prius 3..got it new in 13..I love the car now that I'm used to it. I've owned several VW vans back in the day. All had transaxle problems for some reason but when they ran they were great
I thought about a Mazda 3 hatchback when we bought our last car. The screen on the dash drives me insane. I still should have bought one.My wife and I have been driving Mazdas for the past 16 years. Excellent cars for the money. High safety ratings and one of the lowest (if not the lowest) costs of ownership. I've had 4 Mazdas and only one recall (very minor) and maybe two very minor warranty issues. I love the styling and for reasons that are hard to define, they are extremely fun to drive. Taking twisty back roads in my (almost overpowered) hatchback makes this old man feel like a kid again.....conversely, my wife likes her CX5 because it sits up higher, is easier for older folks to climb into and it has all wheel drive. The only other brand I'd consider is Subaru.
I had a 2005 Mazda 3 hatchback and now have a 2010. Fantastic cars. I did test drive a 2015 Mazda 3 and agree with you completely about the dash screen. But aside from that, it was a blast to squirrel around in. My wife is now trying to convince me I need a CX3 but I'm in no hurry. Other than its a bitch for an old man to get into, I love my 2010.I thought about a Mazda 3 hatchback when we bought our last car. The screen on the dash drives me insane. Mazdas share parts with ford. Ford is trash. Rangers use to have a mazda transmission, total shit.
