Yeah that dude is tall! He's a stiff though.

Armon came in there for a minute. Looks like 150 people there, half of them paid to be there. We used to get more for my kid's Boys and Girls Club games. This 7-5 guy Foster is shooting free throws.

Colorman speculating that a 3 in the key call against Foster was a makeup call. Nervy commentators!

Idaho has blown its halftime big lead. Now 6.

That place is tiny and there are still a bunch of empty seats.

Farrakhan's grandson plays for Bakersfield.

Foster blocks Farakhan's shot. Why do I keep noticing the 7-5 guy? Because the camera's a long way out and the big guy stands out. Armon hasn't had a point yet and now Babbitt's coming in as Armon shoots 1-2 FT. Now he has 2 whole points in the game.

Armon with the bucket!

Whoa Foster! lol

Armon gets a couple more FTs and a FG. 6 points in the game. End of 3rd quarter, 84-75.

If Armon could shoot he'd be a nice player. You can tell he just has no confidence in his shot.

Armon's makes come from floater hook shots when he can sneak into about 6 feet from the hoop. He misses 3s. Babbitt made one 12-foot floater and one standstill almost at the 3 point line, showing he can make both types.

I missed the 1st half when Babbitt dominated.

Edit: Babs got 2 more FGs with range as I typed.

He even had a breakaway dunk in the first quarter :)

What was that? My 7-5 guy had his dunk blocked by a little guy? How do you block a dunk? Couldn't see a foul because the camera view is from a distance.

And I had him pegged for an NBA career for sure.

I even would have vouched for you when you claimed to have discovered him.

The difference between 7-5 Foster and our own Chris Johnson is like me when I wake up vs. me after a triple shot espresso. Johnson stays active.

He pulled it back behind his head thinking he was gonna tear the rim down and the guy just capped him from behind.

Johnson should get Foster's dleague meal per diem. It's the only way I can see him contributing to the NBA.

If McMillan is thinking of Armon as a SG, Armon won't go far. He gets assists much more easily than shots. He finishes with 9 assists after 4 in the first half and he didn't play that many minutes in the 2nd. 3-14 FG in the game.

Babbitt: 35 points and 11 boards 6 assists with a block and a steal.

Armon: 10 points 9 assists and 2 steals.

So you like Armon?

If what's his name ever breaks into the NBA, everyone remember that I was the one who scouted old what's his name.

Details, details when you're a scout. Details is my middle name.

I think Babbitt has a better chance in the NBA. Armon really, really needs to improve his shot or he's or he'll soon be hitting the clubs with Bobbitt in Idaho instead of Babbitt in an NBA city near you.

So you like Armon?

I wish him the best, and maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like a journeyman's life for him in the NBA unless he can develop a couple of sweet shooting spots. Good luck to him. He definitely has an NBA body. Skinniness is what held back Rudy.

As we saw tonight and last season, Armon just doesn't stand out above the other D-League guards. Babbitt didn't stand out either, last season in his first tour, but did so in the second stay last season, and does now. Babbitt doesn't have any special athleticism, that special NBA wirey elastic body that moves down the court velvety smooth.

Really--okay. I kept thinking, what a coincidence, the same last name as Louis Farrakhan.

The grandsons of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X should try out.
