All that really tells me is that the level of competition/athleticism isn't so hot, Luke had stretches like this last year in the D-league where he put up huge numbers.
I just don't think his made-for-college game translates all that well to the NBA level; he just doesn't have enough NBA athleticism to do the same things against NBA athletes that he's able to do against slower, smaller players.
Update (1:32 p.m.): The Blazers just announced that Babbitt has been called up for Tuesday night's game. He averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds in three games for the Stampede.
I'm a Babbitt believer, but I wouldn't change the starting lineup to accommodate him. Sucks for him that he plays at the Blazers deepest position. I love the lineup of Felton, Wes, Batum, Wallace and LA though.
