if he didn't have injury issues, I'd rather have him than Howard.

Bynums offensive moves are much prettier, and complete, than Howards. If he can stay healthy (which I think he can), he'll be a stud for a long time.

That is true, but I meant in the sense that the Lakers would have to give up more than Bynum for Howard, and I think their team as constructed (well, cept for their so-so bench) is better with Bynum, then it would be with Howard.

I wouldn't be surprised if we keep some of our free agents if we make it at least into the 2nd round. As sad as it was to lose Roy, the guy was keeping the team/Nate from letting loose.

Does anyone else wonder why Kobe doesn't ever have surgeries on his wrists, instead of playing with the torn ligaments? He seems to have that as a constant ailment the last few years. Pinkies, or wrists.

I know he's an insane competitor, but there has to come a point where you put your long term health over the short term.
