Major drama regarding a player tonight or tomorrow?

IMO Bayless has nothing to worry about right now. Rudy is the guy that isn't going to see the light of day.

If Bayless thinks he is a pG (and I think he does) he won't care about the Elliott Williams or Wes Matthews additions.

Sure, he may think so, but Nate may not and may not play him a whole lot because of it. On one hand it makes sense, because he is not a PG at this point, but him being one of the better players in the playoffs for us last season should let him have a chance early in the regular season and get some decent minutes even if Bayless makes a mistake or two (do not take him out after just one little mistake), but since it is Nate, he knows he cannot survive.

I don't think that is the case with Nate though. Nate has a hard time trusting young players. Bayless will be entering his 3rd year. I am guessing at some point, Nate makes a transition from young player to vet. Kind of like how Outlaw started getting some trust after he got a few years under his belt. The only players who have got trust earlier were Roy and Aldridge, and even Aldridge had to wait until his second year to gain that trust.

Bayless a PG?

On what freaking planet?

This one. He can guard PGs as well as anyone on the roster, and defense is pretty important.

Bayless probably saw the Johnson and Williams trades and wondered wtf was going on. I'm not sure that he can do anything about it (except get better) but I could see how and why he'd be replaced.

So apparently Nate knows nothing about the drama issue. Are we not sure Quick is just being a fucking idiot again?

He wouldn't admit if he DID know about any drama, would he? :)

Well yeah, maybe. However, I still think Quick is full of shit. There is no reason for a waiting period to announce this, that just seems stupid. It could be about Rudy, but that is hardly news about him whining at this point.

He tried the playmaker role in Summer League and looked 'meh.

His court vision and creating for others is mediocre at best.

When he's in the game, with the ball in his hands, it's like he has tunnel vision: score score score, pass as a last resort.

He's a lot like:

Seriously the best comparison for him.

Paul Allen announced his engagement to John Canzano. They are sailing to Canada for the nuptials on the yacht.

Hey, at least give me credit for thinking of something no one else named.

You're killing me, Crandc. I can't rep you fast enough!

Ha Seung-Jin finally finished filling out the paperwork to sue Nezdad Sinanovic for threatening to cause an injury severe enough to risk his inevitable multi-year max contract extension. Korean's a real bitch to translate straight ti Russian...

Come on, he's in WAYYY better shape then Mark Holton.

That's right. They removed about 12" from it in the picture.

It will just be that Mills is gone. That was a long 48 hours, Nate.

That's a good call. He said "ongoing drama", and he said "a player is involved" and he said "I have to talk to BOTH parties". So while that coud mean Rudy and management with their ongoing saga. I think it is the battle between Patty Mills and Armon Johnson. You have two parties and it would be an ongoing saga of who makes the team. Not sure it is really that much "drama" as Quick makes it out, but it is the off-season and that might be the biggest drama of the next couple weeks for a guy that makes his living off of said drama.
