so there isn’t.

i assume the idea is to have a reddit sorted display, indented replies and replies to replies.

the xenforo developers really don’t want to do this.

Thank god.

I like reddit but I hate the indented replies. I tend to skip over those cause it's overwhelming.

I've been getting a few PM's about this upgrade. Including more than one person threatening to leave over it.

All we are doing is upgrading to the latest and greatest version of the same software we are using now.

If you scroll down to the very bottom of this screen, you will see that the version of software we are currently using is from 2010.

I have been the one bugging Denny for the upgrade. The number one reason for this, is how hard and outdated our ability to post media/links from other social media sites.

The following either don't work at all or don't work correctly:

Youtube Shorts
X/Twitter
Instagram
Tik Tok
Facebook
Reddit
Bluesky
ESPN
CNN
Amazon
Plus others I can't think of.

One of the nice things about this place is the ability to share and talk about things from other sites. That is becoming increasingly more difficult with our old software. Hell, many of these social media sites weren't even around when this software was first written.

Also, this forum will display better on mobile devices.

In 2010, the percentage of people primarily using smartphones to view the internet was extremely low. Globally, mobile devices accounted for only 1.6% of all web browsing, with desktop computers dominating traffic.

As of 2025, approximately 62% to 64% of global web traffic comes from mobile devices, a figure that continues to rise.
Likes and basic format will remain the same. Also, our years of old posts should also make the journey.

Our number one goal in all of this is to make it easier and more fun to talk about the Blazers and sports.

Thank you for this. These are much needed changes that are for the best.

SLY, if somebody took the time out of their day to contact you and threatened to leave over THIS…..they aren’t emotionally stable enough to be here in the first place. Let ‘em go.
Also, I could count on one paw how many people’s old posts are worthy of re-reads, sorry you aren’t one of ‘em.

Yeah only issue I have is the ability to post IG Reels and when I try to share a picture, the ones we take on our phones are way to large of file size. I have to screen grab my pics twice to shrink em down.

I also want all my crazy DMs I’ve received over the years. Would make a great coffee table book

There is some really bad forum/message board software out there. I wouldn't blame people if they left because we switched to something shitty. I have no problem with people expressing their concerns. We do listen to everyone but you when it comes to how this site is run.

Is that how you do it? I wax wondering?

Someone threatened to leave because of this?! That is hilarious!
Whomever that is - Dont let the door hit ya in the ass!

Nah, people like the format we have here. And I agree. I prefer honest feedback like that.

There are many examples of businesses/organizations/websites not listening to their customers/users.
