I think you misunderstood my post, or I misunderstood yours. I thought you were saying the Russkies didn't have an effect because people voted against Hillary rather than for Trump. I was saying that the Russkies wanted people to vote against Hillary (it's much easier to tear someone down than build someone up). So people voting against Hillary doesn't disprove Russian influence.

Whether or not they did have an effect at the ballot box is debatable, certainly, and it is not provable one way or another.

As to your current point, obviously no one is ever going to admit that they were influenced by Russian propaganda - in part because those who were (if there were any) are the least likely to ever know that they were. If there were any voters who were influenced, they'd be low-information voters who rely on facebook, S2, or other social media for their news.

Both countries have been influencing with propaganda for years.
To be honest I think it's the debates and that now days politicians are under such scrutiny and required to not only present to the American Public what they believe needed for improvements and that anymore they won't be able to say one thing and do another. Once the (old order on both sides) is taken out of the equation and cant demand support, that will free up progress in a refreshing way. Now all we need to do is prevent lobbyist from their influence and implement term limits. Politicians should not be beholden to the OLD ORDER and lobbyist. Im more concerned about than the Russian influence. However, I do see how their socialistic/control the mass/control government has influence some of these demo socialist groups.

Sure. And propaganda isn't illegal. Hacking is illegal, and conspiring with a campaign are illegal, though.

As to your last point, in a way I agree. By helping to defeat the centrist Clinton, they've cleared the way for more liberal politicians to run in 2020. If she'd won, they'd have had to wait till 2024 for their shot.

Im hoping a moderate runs as an independent because once again I don't think I'll the other candidates. Now that Bernie is in its going to be fun to watch the demo's all jump on board with socialism and huge government.

You'd have to have a very low IQ to be swayed by the Russians. e.g. Donald Trump was swayed by the Russians.

Bernie will not win the nomination and that will be the end of that. He will, however, turn all of his attention to helping the Democrats clobber Trump.

Probably not but he will be the loudest voice by far to pull the party to the far left with socialism as the main selling point. He will pull with him all that are currently running as they to will want the younger vote just he did with Hillary. Im hoping Biden comes in as really separates himself from the socialist agenda, because thats wants need for the demo to win, imo.

Democrats are already leaning left even without Bernie. I see Sanders as having little impact in the platform.
Personally, I like Biden and have for quite some time now. I'd like to see him get in the race, but frankly, no matter who the Democrats nominage he's gonna wipe Trump out. Trump will soon be a bad memory much like Joe McCarthy.

so you think a far left democratic socialist would win in 2020 regardless. I don't, this country isn't ready for that as yet. Thats a big gamble for democrats!
