Many police officers fear being sued more than being murdered

I'm tired of this society that cannot take responsibility for it's own actions so it blames others. I know people have issues with the police and I know I don't live in the inner-cities but people need to respect the police and need to remember how incredably stressfull it is. God this is sad.

Most police go out there and do a good job. And most people see videos of cops fighting people and assume they are being out of line and don't understand police procedures and whats legal. Neighbors are outraged for some strange reason. AND THEY did get the correct house, a guy was selling drugs in the house, the day before. This 87 year old lady just commented on the news "It's an outrage. She didn't ever bother no one. She ain't got no drugs in that house, never had. I don't got no trust in the police of Atlanta anymore. " Dumbasses..She fired the first shot, on 3 officers, and there WERE drugs in there. ah....pisses me off..

I wish these people would just accept it though, she was 92 f*cking years old, and she had drugs in her house, and she shot 3 officers. They can't just let themselves be shot at, they did the right thing, and I wish they shot that bi*ch that said "she was shot her down like a dog". What a disgrace..We just shouldnt patrol that part of Atlanta..

The cops just keep getting more and more freedom to do what they want. First there was the patriot act allowing sneak and peak warrants. Then the precedent a year ago that allowed them to waltz in after they had knocked. Then there was the precedent a few months ago that said warrantless police didn't have to knock.The cops are just one element of a corrupt government designed to protect the rich from the poor.

^^ I disagree and agree at the same time..I think the problem is..they put the great cops that do their job everyday where they aren't needed..and they put the cops that are corrupt etc. in areas that really could use the protection..I think the good cops outweigh the bad cops though..ive seen my share of both

I don't mind it at all...I don't think the changes are that big of a deal and many departments still go by the old rules anyway. If your not breaking the law you don't have anything to worry about. I wouldn't blame police because they are doing what people are allowing them under law to do.

It was something about a hooker trying to seduce him (he defended sexual offenders or something along those lines), and some retard said it was racist, because the lady was blonde. are you kidding me? the idiot lady was talking about how black men had been attracted to blonde white women, and that it was a racial stereotype. SO ridiculous. It pisses me off how black people always use the racist card. and I just want to clarify, I'm not racist, and not all balck people are like this. I have black friends that aren't like this.
