Speaking of horrible contracts, shouldn't we chase Mike Conley instead?
His contract is one year longer, but he gives us:

- A guard rotation which keeps non-stop pressure on the opponent team.
- Gets some workload off of our backcourt (CJ and Seth can serve more as spot up shooters rather than ballhandlers).
- If there's a tough defensive assignment he can get it instead of Dame.
- Backcourt Injury insurance.
- Adds IQ and experience to our team - on both ends.
