Worse than the one your dipshit GM offered us? Batum for Derrick Williams and two second rounders

no, thats a bad offer though. to davids credit we didnt really have any pieces that you guys wouldve wanted that we wouldve been willing to part with, that situation worked out well for both parties
That was a situation where if the trade goes through, then hey, we just turned dwill into batum, and if it didnt work, we get AK47.

Kevin Garnnett sure seems happy he stayed in MIN and never won a NBA Championship! Right guys?

Brooks is a player Neil should really look at.

PER36: 18.6 PPG | 4.2 RPG | 3.0 APG | 1.6 SPG | 52 FG% | 18.3 PER

I would love to get Tyreke Evans but I don't think the Kings will let him go for nothing. If the Blazers want him there going to have to trade for him by deadline.

Dude. Williams is trash. We're not gonna trade our team's heart and soul for that guy.

No, Luke Ridnour would come off the bench and Batum would be the starting 2 guard. Williams would be our starting SF. So the starting 5 would be Lillard, Batum, Williams, Aldridge and Hickson with Ridnour as backup PG. Barton as a backup SG and Babbitt as a backup SF. So as you can see it would help the bench and my only question is can Williams play the SF spot consistently?

I don't think they'd do that trade. I don't think Williams would work well as a SF, at least with that lineup.

Why would we make our starting line-up worse just to get a decent back-up PG? Wes is better than Rid AND Williams combined.

Gasol can team up with Spanish teammate Rubio. Gasol is a proven winner. Love is not. The Wolves instantly get better. Love went to college in LA, he wants to play in LA, and the Lakers like picking up "stars." They'll be so happy with Love until the games start and the losses start piling up again.

Kobe is a proven winner, not Pau.

Memphis had him in maybe his best years, and the best we could do running our offense through Pau was an uncontested first round exit.

The wins with Kobe and Pau weren't like the wins with Kobe and Shaq, where there was a real question of who was doing the real legwork. Pau's a great player, and he fit well into what the Lakers were trying to do, but those were Kobe's teams. Pau didn't prove anything about being a winner... maybe a whiner, but not a winner.

What about Damian and Alridge for Irving and Varejao.... anyone? *crickets*

Maybe in that would make sense and be viable in 2k, but that's just pretty radical for both teams given the greater scope of the organizations.

Both Cleveland and Portland have built so much of their future into Irving and Lillard, not just from a basketball standpoint but also from a management and marketing standpoint, that they're probably off limits for any trade at this point.

Right now, I think most GMs would take Irving because he's younger and very dynamic. My early impressions have me thinking that Lillard is a better passer, and that Irving might be a slightly better scorer. The biggest thing, for me, is health. Irving has shown to be rather injury prone. If Lillard proves to be the sturdier of the two, I think Lillard would get the nod from me, but we won't know until we have a larger sample size.

Sorry to spoil your little dream in Minny were not only is Rubio better then Rose but Love is a defensive Juggernaut. EVERYONE nowadays who has a player option and who has no doubt they will get another max contract uses that option. You'll have Love for 3 years and a chance to sign him after that.

comedic gold!

And Lillard doesn't seem to rely on his athleticism as much too. He plays in control and seems to turn on the afterburners only when he has to. For most the game; he seems to cruise along and be an asset to the team without moves that could hurt his body later on down the road.
