Yeah, the game was there for them. 1 FT, one more basket, one more rebound....that's the way it rolls....

The only reason they were in that game is UNC shot like crap in the first half and then cooled off in the second. Dorsey's FT kept them in the game.

It's ok santee, I liked your pant shitting comment

I just really want to see this state win a major championship, I'm tired of seeing people celebrate Seattle success, or a championship from before a good portion of us were born.

I would too. The Blazers have had their hearts ripped out many times as well.

OSU won a baseball championship though didn't they? Not that many people care about college baseball. The Willamette Bearcats won an NAIA basketball championship back in 1993.

I feel you. Sports is made to break your heart.

Thanks for ducking it up and robbing me of my dream of an Northwest Championship Game Oregon.

And their team this year is crazy good, maybe better than the two championship teams

On the plus side I could see most of the guys coming back now with maybe only Brooks leaving, and they have a couple of good freshman coming in with a potential 5 star thinking about coming too along with the other 5 star they already have committed.

Which of their main players is not even eligible to come back? Dylan Ennis is listed as a "graduate student"and Chris Boucher is a senior.

Boucher was the only one I knew for sure was gone, It looks like the only other senior is a bench warmer.

Was this meant for someone else?

You said you wanted an All-Northwest Championship Game. Since the Ducks screwed it up. I was pointing out there are other schools (deadpan humor.) .... is Wayne Tinkle not the head coach of OSU? :dunno:

Thank you for clearing that up. I thought you were taking a shot because you thought I was a Beaver fan, which I am not.

By the way, Washington is in the Northwest too.

Yeah. I know. Sucks doesn't it!

Well, they probably would not have made the final shot anyway with the way they were shooting, but it would have been nice to at least have a chance.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't make.

Technically it was a push in back on the last play. But they did not shoot well enough to win. They had their chances.

This was his Chris Webber/Dennis Scott moment

I give him a break. He was getting his ass handed to him in the paint all night long. Just like the Stanford game. Not his fault Altman can't find someone with mass.

And KBW had hands like oven mitts.

Yeah. But the coaches were barking at him to get the 2nd rebound before it happened because he didn't box out. It's embarrassing and basically an iconic collapse for him.

He was lazy on the first rebound attempt. In the clutch, I see that as a choke.

That was all on him. But.....

Two, and the third ought to be added in June.

I love Pat Casey. One of the few things my Beaver grad dad can take pride in. I wish this was more of a baseball state. It would be great to have a pro team.
