You gotta have more faith in your team.

Toko, I have been a die hard Blazer fan for decades... it's a love/hate type of relationship and I have the scars to prove. :devilwink:

I don't know, we're not the one thinking our team will lose in 6 games to the Blazers.:pimp:

I'm your friend... I'm not here to judge. C'est la vie.

You're the one pushing the gospel of Buffy. I'm pretty open-minded, but I'm not sure I'm on board with your vampire sex fetish. Think of the possible diseases. Grave rot?

Just man up and get the stupid tetanus shot like I told you.

The undead have a lot of stamina, at least that's the word on the street. :politician:

Stamina, the 4-letter elephant in the room.

It's a funny thing that this thread turned into a "dead man humping" thread - because, let's face it - that's what the Lakers are. They know we are coming, they know it is just a question of time they are dead - so they get their humping out now, while they can...

You've brought us full circle Andalusian.

I bow with respect and awe. :smiley-drama:

Yes, the team on pace for 66 wins after a Finals appearance last year is clearly quite afraid of the team on pace for 51 wins that went lotto last season and has fewer road wins than every playoff team in the league save for the Bucks and Heat.

You forgot Utah

I havent read what anyone has posted yet, but I just wanted to say its funny how he says Bynum is the center of Oden's generation, when clearly this is Howard's generation, and neither of them have yet to put themselves in the same class as Howard.

You guys keep losing on the road like this, and you just might get your wish(first round vs L.A):)

My wish is for Portland to get into the playoffs.

I believe that a Portland/LA series would be fun to watch, because Portland brings a huge amount of hate into each of those games.

One other thing....Fuck LA.

You... will be.

You..... will be.

If Lakers players are more like, "Really? I slept through most of those trips", (7 consecutive beatings in Portland) that doesn't say much for Phil Jackson as a coach.

Portland is such a peaceful place with all the beautiful scenery, it's obviously a Zen trip every time to find their inner peace.....obviously Ariza missed the memo :dunno:

Anything to do with the Lakers are a joke these days, with their fans already seeing a 3-peat & thinking Andrew Bynum will surpass Bill Russell & stuff. I hope Blazers get the 8th seed & show'em up :devilwink:

God that article is so horribly written and one sided. That whole arguement has an arrogant twist to it (but not in the "we know we are better than you" sense but in the "we are cherishing this moment on top of the west while it lasts so fuck you" sense) and he has the nerve to say Portland is arrogant? LOL! And Laker fans are definitely one of the fanbases that can't trash Oden with their precious Center stubbing his toe and going on IR. The apparent bias is shown again where he calls Bynum the center of Oden's generation (lol...). First off, he is writing Oden off even though Oden's rookie year is infinitely better than any of Bynum's first TWO years... and second he fails to realize how crappy Bynum looks in comparison to Dwight Howard. (edit - who is "the center of Oden's generation")

And LOL at them making fun of our team recently when last year was the first year of relevency for LA since Shaq left, due to their farm team over in Memphis.

And LOL at him describing Ariza's foul like this...

If it was sobering to see Fernandez taken off on a stretcher, Ariza wasn't even trying to take a hard foul, catching Fernandez's wrist while trying to block his shot from behind.

No mention of the fact that it was a 28 point lead, a fast break with Ariza really not having a chance to block it, but swining across Fernandez's body and clipping his head before hitting his wrist and flipping him down to the ground, followed by talking shit. LOL!

And we GOT justice after we kicked LA's ass so bad we made it look easy and the arena was emptying before the final buzzer because of the blowout. And Roy continue's to outplay Kobe head-to-head, specially in Portland. When Odom hit Roy and knocked him to the ground, he got right back up and finished owning the Lakers and gettin' Portland the win. When they put Rudy in a stretcher, we continued blowing them out. Justice has been served.

The Lakers must enjoy their 6-20 record in the Rose Garden. :)

And how the hell is this guy a writer for the LA Times Sport Section? Wow...

Ok, i'm done.
