Good job letting him walk Cash. This team has no need for a 30 homer guy.

This is why I always say he's not a real GM only a money spender.

...no, he was not "here"...his contract was up. If he had taken the Yanx offer he'd be playing right now and they never would have signed Johnson. If you want to play the blame game, blame Johnson for signing with Milwaukee.
...and like I pointed out, the second guessing 6 months after the fact is amusing.
You're lost on this one. How am I second guessing when you yourself admit you remember me calling for the Yankees to resign him months ago. Not to mention the contract he was offered was a minor league one that came after the Yankees had already signed Johnson. He went with the Brewers deal because he felt it gave him a better chance to play which obviously is the case.
Johnson was signed by the Yankees before the offer was made to Reynolds. And yes I did say that Reynolds should be resigned on this board. If you want to call me a liar that's your problem.
...wrong again, Reynolds' offer was made in November...Johnson in December. (but yeah, I'm the one who's lost)
...being the mod, you should easily be able to find the thread/post saying you wanted Reynolds instead of Johnson.

Yeah because I have nothing better to do but lie about it.
I did already. Since you assumed I lied I shouldn't of wasted my time.
...when did I call you a liar?...I didn't.
...now, where's your post being pissed off when they signed Johnson instead?
LOL why would I need a post like that? I already proved I wanted Reynolds back.
...I'll go with "Credibilty for a $1000, Alex". Did you complain about the Johnson deal or not?
...now tell me again about when the contracts were signed.
Quite honestly I don't remember if I had a reaction or not to Kelly Johnson. I most likely didn't. As for the contracts Johnson was signed by the Yankees in December. Reynolds signed his deal with the Brewers in January].
...umm, that's not what you said.
...here, lemme help; "... the contract he was offered was a minor league one that came after the Yankees had already signed Johnson".
...if I prove it to you, will you stop?
"The Yankees offered Reynolds a minor-league deal in late November, but was rejected and eventually, Reynolds signed with the Milwaukee Brewers.........."
...you said you "had yet to see when Reynolds was offered his deal by the Yankees" ...so I decided to show you.
...lol...guess that makes us even.
...Cashman is a figurehead manager and has been since he was hired...we really have no idea for sure what goes on within the upper management and exactly how much juice Cashman actually has.
...but I've also always believed that GMs should be actual Baseball people like Gene Michael and Bob Watson, et al. Before Cashman was given the job, he was basically George Costanza.
...I dunno, isn't his contract up after this year?...I can see them replacing him, but who knows.
...fwiw, I'm pretty disappointed with Johnson's play so far, on defense and offense...and I really thought Brian Roberts would be better too.
...also tired of Soriano swinging at everything and trying to hit a 5-run HR every time at bat.
