That should be a lesson to some of you on here, I am the only mod you are allowed to insult.

That's because I'm bigger than most of you and can kick your asses.

Between the two of us, I may not be the one having a tough day. Bringing up meds is kinda bullshit.

Dude, you insulted him first. I agree that he shouldn't have brought up your meds but you called him blind. That was hardly a complement.

One is an insult that is related to basketball. The other is an insult that's about personal information that he knew about MM that should not be brought up. Some of the people on here will go for the jugular when they get offended. They'll figure out what buttons they can push to actually hurt you and they will try to push those buttons as much as they can. That needs to stop. If you want to call someone an idiot because you disagree with their opinion about Aldridge, fine, but don't bring up some personal shit that you happened to read somewhere on the forum. That's outside the realm of basketball and it's completely over the line.

He made $23m at age 35. LMA's absolute max, according to Storyteller, is a 5/$105m contract. Who cares about a "max" when the max is less then what Dirk made last year. It doesn't lessen the impact on the cap.

Teehee

I'm not really sure that Riverman knew that MM is actually on meds. River tends to stay away from the drama. Saying someone is on meds or should be on meds is rather standard and generic smack talk.

And yes, many of you including myself should be on meds.

This is how I think as well, but to each his own. Back on topic

None of this would be worth it had the Blazers made a trade like 2 hours ago.

lol

It's pretty widely known that MM is dealing with an illness. He referred to "his" meds. To me, that signifies and understanding that MM is on meds.

If Robinson falls int the 2nd round, I wouldn't be surprised if we made a play for him. Great shooter, shitty defender. Perfect Blazer

I can not recall Riverman ever being a problem or having a problem in this forum so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I could be wrong and if I am I'll be the first to admit it but I honestly don't believe River meant it as you and MM are taking it.

Shocking

Mods should have the thickest skin on the forum especially if they are going antagonize the posters. #SavePapaG

So anyway, we offered him the most we could while we have exclusive rights to him, paying him max money through his Age 32 season.

If he says no, next year when he's a UFA here's the landscape:
-DAL and SAS have room for two max players (at least) and probably no HoF PF anymore (Dirk may re-sign for much less)
-there aren't a lot of PFs available
(Blake Griffin: Signed through 2018
Anthony Davis: Will be in NOLA through at least 2017
Kevin Love: Expected to commit to new team once traded
Dirk Nowitzki: Dedicated to re-signing in Dallas (also, 112 years old)
David Lee: Signed through 2016
Zach Randolph: Will be signed to a multiyear deal within the month
Serge Ibaka: Signed through 2017
Chris Bosh: Will be signed to a multiyear deal within the month
Paul Millsap: The most viable option aside from Aldridge
Derrick Favors: Signed through 2018

So LMA will have multiple suitors for his services, and the ability to team up with at least one other superfriend in both situations.
We can offer him more money and 1 more year, taking him up through his age 34 season. The % raises come out to be 650k more per year or so, or 3M more over the course of the contract.

If for whatever reason he leaves, we have 15M or so in cap space, but very little in the way of decent-to-great PFs to spend it on.

Mods should have the thickest skins.

Yes, you're right, we should ignore when someone breaks the rules for 6+ years. That person has been warned and suspended so many times I have literally lost count. He was permanently banned before, and was let back on a probationary status. So yes, please, tell me about thick skin.
