We lost a damn great man. Around the 6-7 minute mark you see what a kind and gentle soul he is.

"It's not your fault."

Do yourself a favor and watch this. During this time, it's great to belly laugh.

What about his family, his kids? Thats who I want to hear from. He took the easy way out and left them with all the baggage and drama and pain. I do NOT have ANY sympathy for people that take you own lives.
I have experience with this and can't be told other wise. Robin Williams is NOT the victim in this situation.

On Tuesday, Schneider Williams spoke with Today's Hoda Kotb about the new documentary Robin's Wish, which captures the late Oscar-winning actor's battle with Lewy body dementia, a type of brain disease that affected his thinking, memory and movement control that ultimately led to his death by suicide in August 2014 at age 63.

To be very frank, there are a lot of people that choose to end their life early when given the diagnosis of Lewy-body/Dementia. There's a documentary about this very thing, which shows the strain it has on both people who live through the disease, and ultimately succumb to it, and who also make the choice to not drag their family through the financial/emotional ruin of an already debilitating and progressive disease that kills you before it kills you.

Again, I'm not going to try to change your mind, just simply offer a simple perspective. I wouldn't dare try to gaslight you when you have your own personal stories.

Thanks for the reply brother, you make a great point.

I've never been a fan of Robin Williams while I've been a great fan of a similar comedian, Billy Crystal.

Thats fair. Different tastes. Also, Billy Crystal and Robin Williams were best friends.

That was great. He was the best. A genius, but what was that outfit he was wearing?!

Robin seemed like he tried too hard while Crystal seemed to come naturally to me.

I can see that. Although I have never actually seen crystals work, I will say that what Robin did was effortless for him. That is literally how his mind worked. It was such a blessing and a curse for him.

I've always loved this video from Muhammad Ali's funeral. As you'll see Billy and Ali were very close friends.

I remember when Ali was denigrated by pretty much everyone but especially by the Right back in the day. Almost no one thought Ali was worth smiling at, at the time. Now, everyone's his long lost friend.
