Sorry Rizzle, no Laker fans are allowed to comment on this topic. You guys don't know the first thing about getting reffed unevenly..
Leon Wood choked on his whistle last night, and Javie had to give him the Heimlich to get it out..
On the other hand Oden played great except for trying his own shots (except the dunk at the end of the 4th), those were ugly, but he was great on defense and rebounding.
Thats what I love most about Oden.. his offense was ugly and he still got 13 points. imagine when he develops something that even remotely resembles a polished post game.
Yes they are. Ignore them.I watched the full game last night on NBATV...Mike and Mike are sooooo biased.
Maybe not, but he had his arms grabbed at least a couple of times driving the lane, and he had his hip ridden several times and there were several blatant reach-in fouls, and he didn't get any of those calls. AI got plenty of calls. Roy didn't.Roy wasnt fouled late in the game when he stole the ball after his miss from point blank
I don't recall the kick you are talking about. I do recall two calls where possession was awarded to Philly that the refs blew. The ball WAS kicked outta bounds by Outlaw
They said on the out of bounds play something along the lines of " You see the ball go out of bounds off the defender(not Outlaw) even though the ball should have bounced in the opposite direction"....uhhhh no
Yes, Joel probably fouled. But in no way does that move deserve a T.When Joel got the T they called it flopping on Evans lol. "You see Evans flop, the problem is Joel extended his arm so it looks like he is pushing him"...lol, jesus get those blinders off
LaMarcus WAS fouled at the end of the game and got no call.
100% disagree. I remember that play very well and the replay right after it. He was in position for the charge when AI was driving to the basket (after Outlaw was burned)but OBVIOUSLY slid to the right before the moment of truth. If LA stands firm AI only hits his left shoulder and probably gets the and 1.
When I first saw it I agreed with you but the replay shows what Im talking about
I think he's talking about when LaMarcus went up for a layup and was crushed and got no call.

You didn't see Aldridge's feet move because they didn't.

gotta agree on that one, blaming refs is lame.. we needed to play better D.Blaming the refs and not realizing the reason we lost was our pathetic defense is just silly. We can't expect to win a game where the opposing team shoots above 60% for an entire half?
Don't blame Wood, look at the defense and all the open shots at the rim the 76ers got.
There were no-calls that hurt both teams. The Blazers shot 34 threes - Philly shot 5. There is the reason for the FT difference.

Philly attacks the rim and gets fouls. I would have just liked to have seen the same calls on the other end last night. It would have likely won Portland the game, bad defense and all.
I'm hardly a big fan of theirs and often listen to tunes rather then whatever local boobs are calling The League Pass games. You are aware that the Laker broadcasters are about as over the top :homer:s as any right?I watched the full game last night on NBATV...Mike and Mike are sooooo biased.

STOMP
take the blinders off, their TV guys both suck up constantly.Joel Myers yes...I cant stand him from day one
Not Stu Lantz, he will point out when the Lakers get gift calls/no calls

Stu Lantz is equally as bad for his homer calls, especially on the Rudy/Ariza play by basically putting the onus on Rudy for putting himself in that position and it was part his fault.
Mike and Mike are homers, no one would dispute that. Every team's broadcasters are homers.
You don't want to blame the officials, fine. But the script the Blazers were following is the same exact one that has won them a ton of games. One of the differences in this game was Leon Woods and his strange calls/no calls. Substitute most any other official and the Blazers run away with this game late.
