Re: McCluess admits to drawing up the play for Doubtlaw AKA the coldest guy on the te

with 8 seconds left we had plenty of time for a better shot.

If Outlaw doesn't quickly get up that 3 pointer - the Rockets would have fouled us..and the game would have been over.

Most NBA teams will foul when up 3 with less than 25 seconds on the clock, put the other team on the line for 2 shots - ball game over.

You can criticize going to Outlaw - but getting up a quick 3 was the right thing to do in that situation.

Before that shot, Outlaw was 6-13, 2-3 from downtown. Rudy was 1-4 at that point, 0-1 from downtown. Get over it. It wasn't a bad play.

Are you kidding me? Before this GAME Outlaw was horrific, even with his 6-14 shooting night he is 14-45 (31%) for the series...I am glad he made 6 shots, but the majority of his 8 misses were ugly shots...

and furthermore, in those 3 games, and in this game, Outlaw has averaged around 30min while Rudy has averaged around 20min...there is NO excuse for that IMO....Nor is there for Rudy getting only FIVE shots...

If Nate really drew up that play for Outlaw then he made a stupid decision....

Man, Outlaw needs to go, I am sick of watching him jack up stupid shots and continually get beat on defense...Did he even know where the man he was guarding was for most of the night? NO....Nothing like watching him CONTINUALLY get stuck b\t doubling a guy or guarding his man...he was in that no man's zone b\t each (and failing the objectives of both) ALL NIGHT LONG.....

Oh BTW...It was nice to see Rudy HIT his 3pt shot off an in bounds play.....See that is how it is supposed to work...
