<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>JaVale McGee has the gifts and the heritage–he’ll be the first son of a WNBA player to be drafted. He even has a nickname, “The Big Secret”, courtesy of mom, Pam McGee. But he’s dropped in mock drafts, because he’s a project, one Kiki Vandeweghe thinks could last “a number of years”. His hometown newspaper thinks that while he might make the lottery, he “likely won’t last past pick 21″ and the Nets.</div>

Ha, that's pretty sweet. I didn't know his mamma was a WNBA player. I don't think I'd wanna drat him, though. Let him drop.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Dallas GM Donnie Nelson thinks he could be a tall John Havilcek. His countryman and Raptor veep Maurizio Gherardini says it’s no coincidence that he is seen as a lottery pick. He’s quite confident. More importantly, for Net fans, Danilo Gallinari is still very high on the team’s board. That's not bad. Not bad at all.
First of all, though, what does Donnie Nelson know, really? Why are we talking about Donnie Nelson? Meh.
Anyways, I still would be happy to hear Gallinari's name spoken by David Stern on Thursday...but I'd prefer a good defensive player such as Westbrook (sorry to go OT, here).
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>In his first look at top draft prospects, Dave D’Alessandro says that the Nets are unlikely to be interesed in any of the top point guards … unless Russell Westbrook drops. The Nets do like two of the top shooting guards, Brandon Rush and Chris Douglas-Roberts. Problem is, writes D’Alessandro, is the #10 pick would be too high for either and both may be gone by #21. Mario Chalmers may interest them as well.</div>

That sounds like a good sign. Sounds like if either drops to 21, we're definitely picking him. I'd definitely take that. Hell, Chalmers even sounds good to me - I mean, he's the clutch one, isn't he? He's a good, solid player. I'd be cool with taking him with the 21st.
